    Kenevo Gen1 Levo gen3 and Kenevo gen2 2023 Alloy frames getting 1Kg heavier ?

Hi there, i realized that my levo Alloy 2022 frame was nearly 0,8Kg heavier than my Kenevo 2020 Alloy frame, both in Size S3. The welding were much more massive in the levo gen3 frame compared to older levo or kenevo. No i have seen in the kenevo specs that the 2023 Kenevo Comp an expert are...

Other Kenevo / Levo swingarm linkage flex

I have the Same movement in the gen2 Kenevo. About 3mm to each side when Twisting the rearend By the Tire against the Mainframe. That Seems to be normal and will nearly be the same on all Kenevos depending on the type of shock and the stiffness of the shock mounts (spherical bearings will give...

Levo Gen 3 Power down after first climb

Hi ! I also had this issues. Pushing constantly, but rider and Motorpower decreased on the display. It seems like the torque sensor value is drifting when pushing over a long time and in the motor heating up phase. After stopping for only a few seconds and unloading the pedals the full Rider...

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo 22 - Öhlins TTX22M2 Mounting

The bearing is a GE8C which you get from various suppliers. Or here the Öhlins branded bearing: ÖHLINS Ball Joint Kit Kugelgelenk für 16 mm Eyelet And you need the Ball joint bushings and grind them from 21,8mm to 20mm width...

    Kenevo Gen1 Kenevo 22 - Öhlins TTX22M2 Mounting

Hi ! It will fit 1:1 from Levo gen3 to Kenevo gen2. But: With the loooong yoke in the Kenevo i would recommend the Öhlins spherical ball-joint bearing in the cylinderhead-eyelet instead of the static bushings to reduce stress on shockmount and shock shaft. There is a reason why speci also...

Levo Gen 2 Motor failure, repair issue

The belt used in 2.2 motor generstion has to be applied with vaseline. This prevents frome creaking. If it creaks, the serviceman forgot the vaseline. The belt in the newest version E01680-200 is not made of rubber and from a new supplier and does not need any grease to run silent over lifetime

Levo Gen 3 Shifting rear bearing in link

Both bearings are fixed with loctite by design. So re-loctiting it should be the correct try to fix it. In my may it solved the problem. The factory glue was not applied correctly The bearings are locked axially in only one side by hardware from slipping. The other side is locked with loctite...

Turbo Kenevo Expert battery cable issue

Hi ! On your 2nd pic the plastic edge directly under the Rosenberger Plug housing is deformed by an impact and stands off - it blocks the connector before all pins can engage 100%. perhaps cut it off in line with the rest of the edge and try again. Best regards, Chris

Levo Gen 3 Official Specialized Gen 3 2022 Levo Megathread!

Had a plastic rattle in my Kenevo which i couldn't fix. Only when hitting hard impacts it sounds like loose nuts in the frame. That's not possible: Derestriction only increases motor-supported maximal wheel-rpm. The motor will see 100% same electric and mechanic motorpower, same Belt-stress and same Motor-rpm. Best regards, Chris

    Brose S-Mag E01680-100 vs. -200: Real Hardware updates ?

Thanks 🙏 Could this new belt be an improvement regarding lifetime compared to the already "improved" actual rubber/carbonfibre belt ? Or does brose just wants to get away from greasing the squeaking thick rubber belt 😀

    Brose S-Mag E01680-100 vs. -200: Real Hardware updates ?

Hi there, I rode my first S-mag with endnumber -200 in the Levo. After 4 S-mags this is the first motor which is comparable silent as the previous Alloy Drive S and also has no cracking sound from the sprag bearings at the first kilometers as the others partially had. While the Specialized...
