So i have an old eone 20 with 11,42 shimano deore . Cassette is toast , I happen have shimano 11 spd cassete also sram 11spd derailleur and shifter . I don't want to buy cassette so thinking of changing too sram derailleur and shifter with shimano cassette. Can I use old cable ?

New rims and tryes . Rear 27.5 . Also smaller tyre on the front . Bike turns alot nicer now . Havent done any serious mtn biking with it yet . But so fsr i am liking having a bike that turns alot nicer .

Went from 32 to 36 .now shifting is outa wack Wont go to lowest gear and shifting is poor. I played around with cable tension and put chain on lowest gear . Chain was slipping also. I wonder if my chain was worn . And now I need a new chain . I do have a spare chain in the shed .I don't own...

Met some friendly bikers at stromlo today . Didn't experience any of this E hate . Rode up w a nice guy when I first got there on his normal bike chatting the whole way up. I turned my motor off for awhile then went eco 5/15 . I think he could tell i was a novice . And kinda showed me the ropes...

creak has started on my 2019 expert . Has about 1800kms on the clock. I have checked motor bolts and suspension linkages . Happens whilst cranking. Ideas guys . . I think I would rather wait for something to break than take it to a bike shop . I can already see the dollars flashing in there eyes.
