What short cranks are you using for the Orbea Wild.

What brand short cranks are you using. Replacing the ethirteen's before they fall off.
Had race face 160 on my last Bosch bike, no problems. Going with the Sram 160 with the transmission on this thing.
Had the ethirteen come loose twice today 😳

I switched out the stock cranks for RaceFace 160mm and had those for about 6 months and then got some Hope 155mm cranks before selling the bike.

What’s all this about cranks falling off? I’ve got E13s on my wild and they seem fine …..

Hope I haven’t jinxed myself .

I like a nice looking set of cranks but really can't see the point in spending loads and saving a few grams in a critical area that gets battered. I sold the E13s when I got the bike and replaced them with a new set of Praxis HD that I bought new for £58 off Ebay. Had the same ones on my Crafty with no issues.

Been riding pinnd 145mm since they launched. I now can’t ride anything larger you get used to being able to pedal over rocks etc with this size. Love them.

On the e13 failures, we haven't seen that issue at the bike shop here, and my Trek Rail 7 hasn't had any issue with the 160mm e13's that I installed before even riding the bike. In particular we have a Gen 1 Rail 7 that has been a demo bike since brand new, and it's obviously been hammered. No problems. I'm not doubting that pattern being reported here, but it's always interesting to see the different results from different sources.

Just replaced e13's on my new Orbea Wild because they came loose after the 2nd ride. Also were tightened to spec with a proper torque wrench before the first ride. They continued to loosen every few rides, even after I removed them, cleaned all the parts and used Lock-Tite when they were reinstalled.
Put some RaceFace Aeffect 165mm as a temporary solution until I can find the Hopes in my color in stock somewhere. :)

You guys running the pinnd 145mm, how tall are you? Want to get shorter cranks but thinking the 145mm might be too short, I’m 6ft. Like the sound of ground clearance with 145mm but don’t want to ruin the pedalling
