Mine is supposed to be here this month. This month is quickly coming to an end. Communication hasn't been the greatest from them, but I'm keeping my hopes up. I sent a text and got no response, sent another text and got this response.Has anyone got an update from Drip E-bikes about delivery of their teewing flux?Mine was supposed to arrive a month ago and still haven’t received it.
Mine is coming through drip in the US, but it was a custom build so it must come as a frame only from Teewing. Are you guys all frames only ? Because there was a ton of Flux's in boxes, when I went to the Canberra store last week.
Yeah, I'm trying to gauge if it's a frame or whole bike issue. Sounds like frame only issue.Mine is coming through drip in the US, but it was a custom build so it must come as a frame only from Teewing.
Mine is also a custom build. I ordered the bike after test riding at Sea Otter.Mine is coming through drip in the US, but it was a custom build so it must come as a frame only from Teewing.
I had asked Darren about an update on the air shipping on the 15th and that was apparently the day before he was supposed to meet with them to discuss the topic, I guess it's positive they figured that out, but no idea if that will help my specific build move along any quicker.Mine is also a custom build. Geometry on the bike refers to things like the head tube angle, seat tube angle, rear travel of the frame, stack, reach, etc etc. By putting on a smaller rear wheel a few of those numbers inevitably change, mostly the head tube angle would slacken just a bit, bottom bracket height would drop a little, and a few other things. Flip chips compensate for this so you can keep those numbers the same with the different wheel. It would basically just extend the linkage a bit so the wheel sits slightly further down when fully extended so the bike still sits on the same plane with the smaller wheel.I emailed Darren asking about availability on the turbo force XT in the mullet option… He replied that unfortunately the mullet was not available. He said it does not come as a mullet and does not have a flip Chip.
He also mentioned that there are several people that are riding it as a mullet, but that it changes the “geometry”. He said to do it I would have to purchase slightly different wheels from them, but that he could assist with that.
I’m not a beginner rider, but I’m definitely a casual weekend Warrior riding 2 to 3 times a week maybe 1 to 2 hours a pop on fairly flat blue and blacks down here in Florida. No steep, climbs or descent.
What exactly does he mean by geometry? At 183 cm and 103 kg. Avg skills - I have a full-size full suspension 29 Ibis Ripley Buyer it’s a super soft ride, but it’s not very nimble at all and that’s probably due to my rider ability. What I notice this supposed change in geometry? I wonder if it’s just a simple as putting different wheels on the bike and that’s it.
I was also looking at the PR carbon, but I know that it does not have the MS2 motor like this one does
I also worry slightly about how many service would be handled on the bike without a local dealer. I’m assuming I would just take it to a local shop and if it’s a warranty item that would be reimbursed by E drip.

So the frameset can be shipped with Ohlins also? CheersShared to a pleasant worthwhile conversation with Pushy's, actually a two part discussion, but one was regarding the Flux frame and shock purchase combo..... as the frame shock comb image presented on Pushys website and well looked to be offered here in Australia paired with the Fox X2.
The news dropped that the Frames and shock combo here in Oz was and now intended to be paired with the Ohilins TTX2 m2 air.
To be honest yes rather pleased, l was to add my Ohlins coil to the mix.... well, yeah all in all good choices to be had️
The frameset in Australia is only coming with Ohilns. Was advertised to come with the X2 but that was a mix up.So the frameset can be shipped with Ohlins also? Cheers
You may be best to follow up with your regional Teewing distributor. So the frameset can be shipped with Ohlins also? Cheers
Quite the email from Darren at drip this morning. Makes me wonder if people who did get their frames already will have to be recalled? Or maybe shipping is just that much faster to Australia which seems to be the only place that has them already and those were fixed ones. Sounds like that could be the case. Glad my order was a custom build so it should be frame only and in that earlier shipment (Hopefully).
Okay, makes sense, he did say it was only some and not all of the frames that had been produced.Given the timeline of this I would be skeptical that the ones that made it to Australia were update/fixed because they all were shipped about the same time, for those that received one I would definitely inquire. Initial reports were it was just the large frames though.
.
They’re really pushing that color hard. Not my favorite but it’s definitely unique. Reminds me a lot of the Levo LTD, probably what they tried to mimic a bit without completely copying it.
If you have motor and battery issues a local Amflow dealer would be able to assist I assume? Obviously frame issues fall to the retailer or importer.I'm seriously considering cancelling my order for the Flux and going Levo EVO. Not sure I'm willing to chance issues that can't be resolved locally
Fair enough, not many Amflow dealers in the US? Thought they'd be plentiful, lots here in OZ, hence that resolved my anxiety about it. That and the importer is a large well known retailer in Australia so should be plenty of supportright, which is across the USA from me. And to go along with the latest email, kinda makes me question it.
Closest one is over an hour away. Closest Specialized dealer is 10 minutes. Come to find out that Specialized has a Veteran discount program as well, not sure what the % is, but I registered for it to see what that gets me.Fair enough, not many Amflow dealers in the US?
