No Boost on my new M2s

A bunch of us on the RS 181..2 Crestline forum are having the same issue, so I thought I’d reach out to the Avinox sub.

When we use Boost, the motor cuts out. Happens in both settings - with and without Boost Local Enhancement. Boost reset, etc.

Anyone know what’s up?

Amperage limit as the battery sags in voltage maybe ?
Is it when it's particularly cold out, or the battery is in a lower state of charge ?

Unfortunately, none of those issues. Brand new, nice day, full charge.

I have 600, but others in the forum that have the exact same issue have the 800.

That's not good, I have an e-dreadnought inbound with the m2s.

Because only the new 700 battery is the newer cells with higher discharge.

I have the same thing happening. I have reached out to Troydon and Avinox but have not received a response. Please do the same!

Crestline just got back to me and says it’s a known issue and may need an update. Turbo at full power supposedly works the same as boost. That is the recommendation for now.

I don't understand why bike companies don't test their products longer and get all the bugs out first. Specialized did the same thing with the new update and now Amflow.

They do, but boost does not work in any mode. One other odd thing I noticed is that under custom modes I cannot change the wattage of trail mode but I can in all of the others. It just appears as a blank window if you click on change?

That was my thinking,if your in turbo at 1300watt how can you get boost?

You would get 1500w with the 700 battery. When I initially discovered this I had already dialed down my settings a bit. The bike is a handful with full beans but I would still love to have it on the button.

Yes this is working.

I believe that's not the issue.

Whatever that update was this morning it did not change anything, the boost problem persists.

Everything I’ve heard is you need the 700 battery for 1500w boost. I think it’s amflow only. I could be wrong but velduro have the same issue.
