I wish they used the new 700, it’s honestly the only downside to this bike now in my opinion. I love all the rest of the specs, but would have been nice to get the latest battery in there and save a little weight. My current battery is 720Wh and it’s a great capacity for the riding I do.
I wanted the new motor but the old 800wh battery. I can now bring my Amflow battery as a spare. Or even get the 600wh as a spare from Amflow and go "Weight Weenie" on either bike.

The greatest issue I see with the 700wh, is it's cylindrical, so it's mountings will be very different.

So I'm very happy with Teewings decision, as they also supply the 12A charger as well.

Wow that's insane. The cheapest full bike Vleduro is AUD$15.5K here, compared with AUD$10K for the Flux. Just shows how much the country of sale, and the distributor impact the release price.

They will sell zero Fluxs in New Zealand, and maybe that's what they want.
This is because there is only one model Rouge in Australia so far. Rouge R in NZ is $16999 but Rouge X is $12999.

You would estimate if the rouge X releases in Australia it would be $11,500 AUD give or take.

Sure. If ? But it isn't released here.

If I could have got any Velduro Rouge, with a 180mm Fox 38 and Fox Float X shock, for AUD$11K, I wouldn't have cancelled my order for the Velduro. But I couldn't. So I did, and spent AUD$10K on the Teewing Flux.

And now with the info it comes with the M2S, with all extra power and features. I'm feeling I have never spent my money better.

Had an email from Pushys 11:00am to lock in a frame, only just replied back now sending deposit, black frame set medium, they had two yesterday but hey... whoosh!

If I had parts. I would have bought a frame. But luckily I was able to sell my 2 other EMTBs, and most of my components went with them. That's why I wanted a whole bike.

Buying the frame, then 2027 Fox suspension, would have been much more expensive, adding in full drive train, brakes, cockpit, seating and tyres.

How do we feel about orange and blue…
Would have orange stem or grips too. Black seems so boring so I was thinking of going with the blue frame.

Love it.

I'm adding lots of lavender, purple, Including a vinyl wrap, and a touch of gold to my black one. Wheel rims, hubs and most accessories purple or lavender. The decals gold, as well as Renthal Gold Bars.

What is everyone doing with the sizing?
The size chart has the large at 172-185cm but has a reach of 480
The Turbo levo gen3 S4 is 173-188cm and has reach of 477

I know reach is not the only thing when size counts but this is not adding up to me

so what have you guys ridden and your bike sizes ect?

need help to work out size

I’m 178cm on the large. The slacker HA and steeper STA (compared to the turbo force) makes the reach feel shorter than it actually is. How tall are you?

Gathering a few parts required to build onto the FLUX frame.... reusing a good amount of gear from the Norco to get things moving, aware to upgrade as required.....

Helpful advice here would be great regarding the chain.... opting for steel composite and am aware l require two chains, but then how many links to add to one chain to create the desired length?

Somewhere, maybe it was AI mentioned on chain length for the effect it takes 128 links for HP's.....

Anyways just thought to add it in here, seeing frames are purchasing options..... which also has me now thinking to yell out this question over to those Rogue's at the Velduro camp.

Thanks!

I bought a 136 link chain that’ll do it in one go hopefully :)

Teewing website says 124 links. I bought a 126 link KMC T-type gold chain.

I'm hoping that will work.

Too good! Thanks B Rabbit links all dropping in together! 😀🤙 Did you to do for yourself good service on a FLUXY frame ?
Havent bought yet, still plenty of stock of my size so waiting to see if the world economy explodes in the meantime. They dont land for about another 4-6 weeks so not much to gain committing now.
Still 99% sure i'll end up on one, hence i'm starting to pick up parts :)

Be careful. The medium Flux frame only with the X2, is now sold out. Only large left.

Yeah, got the last Large frameset on the first shipment. I'll br stripping down my Spesh Enduro to build it up, this includes a 180mm Lyrik, but i'll upgrade that to a Zeb down the line. I'll also be running 11 speed.
The only issue is the rear hub which runs 350 hub with a 54t ratchet, pretty sure 1300w is going make to short work of that!

I've been running the Koozer XM490 Pro on my 1000 watt Amflow. They have held up really well. I have gone to the Koozer 350 for the Flux, which is a stronger 40t ratchet hub.

Worse case if I experience issues, is I'll upgrade the rear to a Hope Hub. They come in the same Lavender colour.

I know the Flux bikes are just starting to get into riders hands. I am curious, have any of you who have them tried removing the battery yet? If so, I am curious how difficult it was, as the Pinkbike article suggested that, while not a "removable" battery in the same sense that the Amflow PR is, it is still easy enough that a battery swap in the parking lot at the trailhead wasn't out of the question.

I am also curious about the shape of the battery compartment, and if it seems like it could accommodate something other than the 800wh, such as either the 700wh (which is basically the same length as the 800, but rounder in shape), or the 600wh (which is the same width and height as the 800wh, but about 125mm shorter in length).
