Good.I have an 840wh battery and a 280wh extender in my Levo Gen4. 1120wh is perfect for my riding.
IDo you think 48V gives better range?

The Gen4 Levo with the 840wh has a little bit more range than the Gen3 Levo with the 700wh. I think it's due to the Gen4 having more power.Good.

I sure hope Avinox comes out with an extender or I'll be on a Levo again this year.
Do the levo and forbidden ride much better on descents than the amflow?
Yeah I'm just getting really dialled in to mine now, PBs every ride nowYes, levo definetly feels more heavy and planted . Druids a strange bike to ride imo, but once you get the hang of it its a beast.
That is what they say, but I cannot tell the difference between 1275 and 1295, and 1275 is the cheapest T type there is. My 1295 only made it 600 miles. No way im doing that againin general, higher-end SRAM cassettes last longer
Yes 8150 for EP801 motorelectronic shifting and Shimano cassette... 12spd Di2?
I never use that feature, and under load it is always a single click at a time. Only time I hit the button rapidly is shifting while coasting setting myself up for a hard drive off a hairpin, or a steep climb off a sharp corner. So downshifting.multiple shifts under load being a detriment to drivetrain life
Im over 9000 miles in the last two years with 1,350,000' climbed, and a 1/3 of that is at race pace. Im on my third EP801, 4 Rosenburger cables, 2nd battery. And I dont count how many chains and cassettes and rotors and pads I go through, if it needs it, it gets done. I keep spares on the shelf ready for repair.I haven't worn out a cassette yet
I would love to run the smaller and lower center of gravity battery and have the option of an extender for the big rides but Avinox says they will NOT be producing oneThe Gen4 Levo with the 840wh has a little bit more range than the Gen3 Levo with the 700wh. Of course they will say that if things are still under NDAsI would love to run the smaller and lower center of gravity battery and have the option of an extender for the big rides but Avinox says they will NOT be producing one.
Can only hope they wouldnt be that stupid to offer more power, less battery and no extenderOf course they will say that if things are still under NDAs![]()
No, as he said in the video, he can’t give specifics on the motor, (how much power, how many watts etc) because of the embargo. After April 9th, everything will come out.I found Rob Rides first ride review on the Mondraker Zendist interesting as he said he couldn’t “talk” about the embargoed motor but did comment on the smooth power delivery. He’s rode plenty of Avinox bikes. Was he commenting because it’s noticeably better?
True and I get that but saying an opinion about a smoother power delivery isn’t very specific. No, as he said in the video, he can’t give specifics on the motor, (how much power, how many watts etc) because of the embargo. After April 9th, everything will come out.
Right, but I’m sure anyone who was given a chance to access one early was told they couldn’t comment on it at all. Let’s pretend he made a negative comment about the motor in some way, imagine the uproar you’d see on forums with people widely speculating that they somehow “screwed up the new motor”, or saying “it’s worse, don’t buy one yet!” Much safer to just tell everyone they need to stay quiet until it’s out, we can all see how fast the rumor mill churns out juicy tales.True and I get that but saying an opinion about a smoother power delivery isn’t very specific.

I heard a juicy tale...Right, but I’m sure anyone who was given a chance to access one early was told they couldn’t comment on it at all. I just bought my Shuttle LT because of the motor and it's reliability and feel, and for the modular batteries and REx. But I sadly suspect the OP is right, as your average consumer chases more power, even if it's pointless, barely ever used or usable, just like cars and motorbikes.Doubt it. Reliability and options will always win for me. Unless you know of an extender for.dji?
You speak a lot of sense in your posts, refreshingly informed and objective!I’m willing to bet not that many people in the grand scheme of things actually buy a range extender, especially on bikes that offer 800Wh batteries. Obviously some are out there, but I’m willing to bet the share of people that have a range extender as a make or break requirement on their list of desires on a bike with an 800Wh option is very small.
We see them be really popular with Bosch because so many manufacturers went with the 600Wh battery option for better looking frames.
Totally agree! I bought up some remaining one-piece SRAM 11s 11-42t blocks and strong 11s chains, with a short cage Madrone cable mech, and it's much, much better. So yes, a 9sp strong setup would be good.Full linkglide setup too, ultra reliable.
We need 8-9 casette with BMX chains and resized derailleurs.
All 12speed aluminium crap is ok for mtb, not for E-mtb (plus it's useless, considering the power reached).
On another side, M1 on auto mode is far enough for me.
All i wish now (and need) is volume and mass reduction.
Super hyped about upcoming models in avinox for 2026 and later (and CVT plz).
also, the propain looks nice. We need more aluminium options (and also forged carbon, build in Europe / USA).
AND FRAME KITS PLEASE !
Just like how Avinox plays it safe and stays under 750 wattsRight, but I’m sure anyone who was given a chance to access one early was told they couldn’t comment on it at all. Would be cool if SRAM would do an EX1 ver2.0 AXS Transmission. It was ahead of its time.Totally agree! I bought up some remaining one-piece SRAM 11s 11-42t blocks and strong 11s chains, with a short cage Madrone cable mech, and it's much, much better. So yes, a 9sp strong setup would be good.

Like you, I'd rather see efficiency and range increase, and battery sizes/weights shrink.
I'm saying with more than a guess, that there's no Avinox REx anytime soon.......I am not sure about the average consumer chasing more power.
I havent seen any posts/feedback of avinox m1 ebikes asking for even more power in last 1-2 years?
What i kept reading was asking for RE, fixing rattle and removeable battery...
Never heard any anyone saying more power and less range
Im very hopeful about the RE coming soon, and also 930wh battery. But we may have to wait for these.
Read somewhere on french FB groul about 400wh RE at 1.5kg but when making calculations, it seems to be complete BS. I think we would look at least at 2kg. Cells alone would be at best 1.65kg.
Trust noboby and just wait for the 9th![]()
If the new avinox has less drag on cruising I’d guess it’s going to be more efficient. It also will have multiple battery options. Avinox currently has the lighter battery option and lighter motor. I don’t see how people can say the avinox is less reliable than Bosch at this point. I haven’t heard of any failures (aside from some people having rattle which Bosch also went through) so I think they should be in that same category of reliability until something changes..I just bought my Shuttle LT because of the motor and it's reliability and feel, and for the modular batteries and REx. Then i guess no avinox for me as my riding style needs at least 900wh...I'm saying with more than a guess, that there's no Avinox REx anytime soon.......
