New Amflow Models?

Reliable sources indicate that it will have a 700Wh battery, ultra-fast charger, and a 50km/31mi extension cable.

This would be an absolute disaster, but i suspect there will be 3rd party devices developed if they do.
I'll be kicking myself for turning down a preprod velduro last year if this happens.
I know people who have ridden this new moto

I hear they have a Solar power back pack , that Auto charges while rideing.

So still nothing on the restricter loophole possibly being permanently removed. I couldn't pre order any Avinox not knowing this but hopefully even if it is the resistance at the limiter isn't anywhere near as brick wall as the current M1 motor.

Someone posted that they heard there would be coming on one of the previous posts.

I think if they are releasing a bike with 700wh fixed battery and 1300w of peak power then there will almost certainly be a range extender but perhaps not and they are putting all their eggs in the fast charging basket.
I noticed the Mondraker Zendit has 2 bottle cage mounts which seems like a big clue to me!

Agree with some posters above that even as a frequent double big battery user, a 600Wh extender seems a bit unnecessarily large (assumption that it will weigh a bit over 2kg and take up most of the space where a water bottle would go). 700Wh+300Wh would probably be a pretty great setup for most people, especially if you can fast charge both in parallel easily.

Personally, I think the main thing that would significantly improve (some of) my rides is a 940Wh battery, while still having access to a water bottle.

Absolutely! 940wh. Clean, simple solution without external battery, for most should be enough. + possibly 300wh extender.
700wh is just not enough if we want to enjoy the power this system can provide.
Dont like the additional complexity and weight of 600wh range extender.
It sounds very unlikely to me anyway. Would there be no too much pressure on those 2 bottle screws to hold so much weight of 600wh solution?

I placed an order and I think it will arrive in about two ~three weeks.

Apparently, Amflow PX uses a spider-free chainring
I want to change to 36T chainring.
Where can I get compatible products?

Sram makes direct-mount Avinox chainring
part 11.6218.080.001 (steel) or 11.6218.081.000 (stell/alum)

Compatible with T-Type Sram setup only.

What are your guy's thoughts on pulling the trigger on the Amflow PL Carbon (non-pro) from N+1 bikes right now? Is it silly to not wait to see what the new models officially look like? I just don't want to miss out on the $1500 off the XL, seems like with Amflow selling out that N+1 could sell out soon too.

The new bike doesn't make the old one a bad one, however I personally would wait as well, there are new features/improvements we know already like:
Adjustable head angle and chainstays
Charging port is moved so can handle bigger droppers, standover may be better but i'm not sure
More power and torque

Still speculation on more possible features:
Quieter/more refined motor
Range extender or removablee battery
The cheapest one might be priced low?

Was chatting to a dealer the other day who reckons he’s had it confirmed they have a 600 range extender in development. It will use bottle cage mounts but won’t fit the medium frames, long and thin are the words he used.

I hope I'm proven wrong but a 600wh extender would be huge and heavy would it not? I'd be surprised if it could even fit. Would have thought a 300wh would be more in fitting.

A 600 WH extender would be huge. I'd guess it is more like 250-300ish. I am not a mullet fan though I do see the advantages in certain areas. I'd get the one on sale, especially if I were somewhat certain an extender would be coming soon.

It could actually make sense, maybe mounted at the front? Around the head tube? That would also explain that screw I couldn’t figure out in the photos, and the hole you can see in the pictures of the downtube on the Ekano with Avinox.

If it has to be long and thin and doesn’t fit inside the frame triangle, the only logical place seems to be right there at the front. The only doubt I have is the possible exposure to impacts from rocks.

It would also be quite ingenious, because it would still allow you to keep a water bottle and the battery weight would remain lower, with a better center of gravity.

Somewhere on this forum, there are too many threads about avinox, I don't remember which one 😂

Come on guys, do you really think they would make a 600Wh Rex...that's is basically just another 600Wh battery 🔋. Just adding a battery on top of another. That 6kg of 1200Wh (200Wh/kg) battery on your downtube. That's ridiculous.

If they would/will make an extender, they will surely use the newest cells.

Extenders are at a higher load stress due the lower cell count so a sensible thing(especially at Avinox power) to use for a Rex would be to use the 6Ah cells as those are a bit more temp stable at discharge.

Of course they don't need to and just restrict the power when using the Rex, so the higher capacity 6,5Ah cells are a go also. One point is also, it's best(performance) to use the same capacity, manufacturer and type of cells for the extender as for the battery. As you can imagine that needs some ahead planning when ordering cells, materials, at r&d, etc...

The theoreticaly and technicaly possible Rex options with 6,5Ah cells are:
235Wh or 470Wh

Estimated weights being cca 1,2kg the smaller capacity and cca 2,1kg the bigger capacity.

Combine that Rex with the new cca 3kg(the integrated one could possibly be a bit(200g) lighter) 700Wh and you get a combined 935Wh at cca 4-4,2kg(228Wh/kg) or a combined 1170Wh at cca 4,9-5,1kg(234Wh/kg).

If a single 935Wh pack is in r&d, that would also weigh in at cca 4kg, so basically also cca 234Wh/kg.

That's is why think the 600Wh Rex is highly unlikely...why would you want to ride around with a dead 3kg weight(internal pack) just to use a 3kg extender, doesn't make sense, if does to someone, make it make sense. ✌️

Would definitely wait. Plenty of confirmed upgrades just from the photos.
Also is it me or the new base model gets standard autoshift? From the leaked website specs, it says AXS pod shifter for the base one.

The base model utilizing S1000 shows that wireless shifting will be available on both.

I'm continually amazed that range extenders completely dominate every Avinox topic on every internet forum. You guys must all have butts of steel!

That's the screw for the internal 600wh battery...
The 800wh battery is secured with a screw from the top, accessible when you remove the display unit.
The 600wh battery is secured with the screw from the bottom.

i am disappointed by these new amflow offerings. the same poor frame design with clevis shock, limited dropper length and long seattube. why didnt they bring a real enduro bike with a 65mm stroke rear shock and a better frame design? i guess the one good thing is i wont have to spend a bunch of money on a new bike this season.

i still fail to see the reasoning behind full power trail emtbs. i just think the enduro platform makes so much more sense for full power. the average riders will get a safer more forgiving bike and the advanced riders will have geo and travel they need for fast/aggressive

Teewing Flux might suit better?
