Yeah I got similar (2026) but have to send it back. It doesn't fit the rhythm fork. Chatgpt says the pre-2026 version won't fit either (different placement of holes etc). Zip tie mudguard it is :(

I had a 36 Rhythm on my last bike, so I feel your pain about the mudguard :(

people are 3D printing front guards for Fox shocks without propriety guards available
I think this guy does the 36
I bought these for the other half recently - pretty good - noticeable layers and very shiny
but matched the stanchions and look good - made in 2 pieces strangely - but tough and solid

Mrs bike has a Spank Split (31.8mm) 43mm stem which bought for silly money in Wiggle/CRC closing down sale couple of years ago and always thought it felt really nice with her Lyrik D1 160mm forks with Smashpot.

Felt something was lacking with the handling of my bike (with same forks), got the feeling that a slightly longer but stiffer stem would work better so bit the bullet and bought a Spank Split (31.8 bar) 38mm stem to replace the DMR Defy35 (31.8mm) 35mm stem.

Wow, after two rides can NOT believe the chalk and cheese difference, feels GREAT. (y). Really surprising.
 
Just got a Feedback Sports HD repair stand…damn thing thing is quality, I probably way over spent on it but I was feeling frisky. You know something good is coming when you get a delivery via a freighting company truck rather than the postie. Now I’m waiting for a call from the bike shop for the new bike to be picked up. Should be tomorrow. Will add some pics when I have that.

Very nice. Can I ask you how much it weighs w/o the hardware? Just curious.

I have a Jade X coil on my 2022 M size Rail (780g with 450lb spring). The Rockshox reservoir is too long for an M size Rail with the 625Wh battery and contacts the frame under full compression. L sizes and later 750Wh models are OK because the downtube is angled differently.

What display is that please? Does it come on new Bosch-motored bikes as standard, or do you have to specify it?

I've mounted it on the bike now, sorry, I'm not getting it off to weight it 😝
Really happy with how it feels and looks - just need the rain to stop to get out on a proper ride !

It's the Kiox 400c, and apparently it is OEM on some new Bosch bikes.
My 2026 Vala had the top tube cut out for it, but instead had the BRC3100 and a filler plate to accommodate it.

It's a standard 2024 Rail 9.7

Rail (750Wh) - Rockshox Vivid on a Rail?

Hi all, Has anyone tried the new Rockshox Vivid shock on a Gen 4 Rail? A mate has just installed one on his Levo and loves it. What stroke length and tune would you go for? Cheers

I bought a shotgun MTB tow rope - to tow my son up the climbs when he wants to ride his DH MTB, leaving his eMTB at home, and there are no uplifts available.

One end loops around his headset/handle bar and the other around my saddle - tow away. Rated up to 225kg. At the top it can be very quickly looped and clipped around my waist, for the ride down, and repeat.

More laps = more riding fun

The back and silver PNW Loam XL grips I was accidentally sent last week are bothering me every time I walk past the bike so I've just ordered the fully back ones I originally wanted. I'll give the others to a mate who has a silver frame.

That's cool, we used to use a rope. and crash.
 
Got a wild hair up my rear, so built up some new wheels, just so I can run Hope rotors on my bike. There wasn’t enough clearance with an I9 hub and frame brake mount with the 2 piece rotor. Took the magnet from a Jagwire rotor and epoxied it into place. Works like a champ! Also for no apparent reason I wanted blue SPD pedals, so I’m give the OneUps a go.

I've got those pedals (in green) boy are they tight! I backed them up so much one pedal fell apart - easy to get back together.
but watch yourself - I left one side, one click off fully open - couldn't get out quick enough going up Spooky woods and ended up tearing the ligaments off my left index finger (I ran with Shimano Saint's for years)
