I've had Covid for the past week. Pretty sure I picked it up, in a clanging irony, at hospital last week, attending a physio appointment for my last physical calamity. Fair to say then, the second half of the year has been a stinker for me from a riding point of view.
The symptoms have been rough, sweats, shivers, never ending hacking cough, streaming nose & everything I eat tastes of nothing but smells like chlorine!
But the reason for this is the breathlessness. That is genuinely scary at times. Even acts like getting dressed can leave me gasping for breath. I'm guessing - praying - it will pass, the idea that it might not is tough for a mountain biker, so I guess I'm looking for reassurance, if you had it, how long until normality returned & did it even?
