You lucky the bike has worked perfectly, I’ve had endless issues with all three bikes , 2 Sworks and a comp . Dont get me wrong when the bike rides without issue its amazing but the issues have made it hard to enjoy the bike has spent most of its time at the Bike shop. Also when I bought the Sworks instead of the Pro it was on the promise from Specialized that the bike would be way better than the General Levos and they never change that , now they basically the same bar a few Nm and a marginal power diff .The upgrade is amazing for yourself and all the non Sworks buyers but I spent a whackload more because if that promise , the groupset is better on the Sworks and some other parts but like I said it didn’t work on t he bike I had to change the hubs so as far a better spec kinda was taken out of the fold cause I had to change them to make the bike work and on the first Sworks Specialized took the xx sram off and put on the XO so kinda leaves you thinking
anyway it really doesn’t matter what is said here they don’t really give a hoot , I’ve seen that in the way they treated me with the first bikes debacle and the other issues that have come about , enjoy the pro

Hope you get on top of all the issues and can enjoy the bikes.

The Pro was a smart choice I think (I was never bothered for the power as I don’t use it all) but it has the same/best suspension, I prefer the XO groupset because of how it looks being all black, the wired dropper means I don’t have another battery to charge, the hubs I’ve had for years without issue so know they’re hardy and I change the brakes on all my bikes anyway.

Literally couldn’t be happier with it.

You’ve still more power and the name so all good hey💪🏻

I’m interested in this “way better” promise. Sounds pretty ambiguous if that is the wording used. How was this promise delivered to you? Verbally? By whom?

Which Sworks did you receive the first lot in May or November? Also Specialized told that would never upgrade the pro comp etc to the same power so they did the next best thing they upgraded it to marginally below , when I bought I looked at the comp cause of the colour option at that stage was appealing to me The local Specialized team who eventually sold me on the Blue Sworks reassured me there would always be a significant difference on the Sworks power and Nm “it’s specialized effort to separate the Sworks for the Sworks owners even more than the previous gen’s and that will never change”
Did they now discuss this promise with you when you bought your Sworks ?

I was told the same thing by specialized them selves on launch night when I placed my order on a blue s-works , told me the s-works should always be a bit special over the the other models to kind of justify the price ,
 
Not nice what they doing , although the Sworks is higher the difference in power and nm will be so small you can’t distinguish between the two not the fact that they doing the upgrade the fact they made us pay so much more
Anyways there’s nothing we can do we were told it would be special and now it’s just a little special pretty sure soon enough it’s going to be just as special 🤣🤣🤣as comp pro etc etc
If you didn’t buy, the Pro is a Kick ass bike and specked super cool and now or pretty soon will be almost as special 🤣
 
This is the most typical S Works buyer thing I have ever seen :D

"Oh no my bike isn't special anymore" 😭

S Works owners would have way more fun if they redirected all the energy they put into thinking if their bike is special enough into actual riding.

Typical non Sworks buyer all mouth and no action , go spend 13000 dollars on a bike you were promised one thing and have the manufacturer decide he’s gonna change what you invested in , shame it’s ok we all understand

Truth be told you are right should ride more and moan less , it’s just frustrating, for me that 17k $ is allot and I saved for the bike Specially excuse the pun , really wanted that something really Special and it it is ( when it works) , funny thing it’s going back today for another issue 😂 but that’s my fault I changed the brakes and the Fox dropper needed a new harness to connect
 
Also a heads up for new buyers that buy and might want to put new hubs Ind.9 or Hope etc etc confirm this spec with Specialized my bike came with 32 rear 28 front . I think this is Green Sworks Only the blue and maroon are specked correct

There's a track record of people paying a premium for S Works with zero difference in power. More powerful SW Levos is a new thing. Don't let it hurt your superiority complex. Just enjoy your bike.
How does Specialized ever sell an SW analog bike?

Lets be serious here. It was a b*** a** move from the beginning. S-works was always expensive and the motor was identical with the cheaper models...

Spesh did the same with the Tero lineup, the lower end models was detuned.

He's taking the piss. It's not released yet. It looks like they will be going back to OTA updates so when it releases it will be on the Specialized app (I assume you'll have to update the app first). There will most likely be press releases either in the build up or on release day on all the usual platforms so until you see something there take anything you see here with a bucket of salt.

That a shame, all my S works had issues and were back in the shop on a monthly basis, but the service to try and fix things was great. 14 months on my AMflow now been back in once during this time. For new chain and cassette.

Yeah the shop was telling me about these last week. I still don’t think it was help the way the bike rides or the looks. They need to do away with that the bulky frame and move to slimmer SL type one. I might be interested then.
