will be a OTA with the new app update on iOS and Android and some refinements to the other settings. Can we get back to the question at hand , the software upgrade ? Is it happening if so are the upgrades according to earlier comments ? Was watching and riding to see where the Nm make a difference and where power makes a diff.
kinda over my bitchass complaining and would be nice to see Specialized update the software give a bit more grunt to the Watts also if it’s true excited to see how that power is put into action. We are lucky here in SA were able to ride in class 3 as long as we don’t switch the bike off so those extra watts will definitely come in handy , ND SO THE QUESTION REMAINS
are we getting a update this year ? What are the updates ? Is it OTA or have to go in ?
Do we have a release date ? To the rest of the world ? I think Europe a Us are normally first then a week later the rest of us Plebswill be a OTA with the new app update on iOS and Android and some refinements to the other settings.
I dont have a release date .... but suspect late dec early jan ...Do we have a release date ? To the rest of the world ? I think Europe a Us are normally first then a week later the rest of us Plebs

It starts automatic on Google play and App store when it's released.I’ve never seen an option in the app to perform updates?
OTA updates are being reintroduced. Currently you have to go to a dealer to get updates done.I’ve never seen an option in the app to perform updates?
My latest update was 3 weeks ago version 1.57.0 at app store.OTA updates are being reintroduced. Currently you have to go to a dealer to get updates done.
Specialized did offer OTA updates previously but switched back to dealer only for some reason.
Wait, are we talking app version or bike firmware here?My latest update was 3 weeks ago version 1.57.0 at app store.
So in your app , for the gen 4 is the one I only know ,on the first page at the bottom you’ve got Bike status ,Bike settings ,Tune Display settings etc etc if you click on Bike statusI’ve never seen an option in the app to perform updates?

It opens a page reading system status , Firmware , battery etc etc click on Firmware and you have the option to update IF THE SOFTWARE IS OUT other wise all it does is let you know what’s currently loaded , Guys please correct me if I’m wrong on this
This is my today firmware so probably motor and battery firmware has to be done at the "studio"Wait, are we talking app version or bike firmware here?
The app itself of course gets updated regulatory however the bike firmware currently needs to be updated in the shop connected to turbo studio.
For a minute I thought I was the only one who liked the gen 4 levoAs we know, people’s preferences in bikes (and anything else) boils down to what works for them.
I went to Sea Otter and test road almost every Bosch based ebike available (they had a tent setup). I then road the Levo Gen 4 and bought it. It was the best on the market for me at that time and I love riding it. No issues so far.
Same here! For a minute I thought I was the only one who liked the gen 4 levo, love mine and can’t see why everyone goes on about the weight , for what I’m doing it’s an advantage, I want a tractor type bike to plough through everything coming it’s way , and how many new big full fat bikes have come out after the levo with even bigger battery tubes , plus the dh boys are adding weights to there bikes , it really doesn’t seem an issue too me , each to there own I know we all have our own views . But I’m really enjoying mine , looks and ride .

Thanks for the update. I can’t wait that long - I neeeeed it now!According to LBS the new firmware was ready to be released last month but then a bug was identified which has to be crushed before the release in end of January.
Waiting is less frustrating than dealing with bugs; especially when I’m not feeling starved for power at all.According to LBS the new firmware was ready to be released last month but then a bug was identified which has to be crushed before the release in end of January.
+1. I've never felt like I needed more power, in any scenario. I'm hoping the update contains some new features or refinements, as opposed to just more power.Waiting is less frustrating than dealing with bugs; especially when I’m not feeling starved for power at all.
Let it bake Specialized!
Auto shift would be a cool addition. (shifting when not pedaling)+1. I've never felt like I needed more power, in any scenario. I'm hoping the update contains some new features or refinements, as opposed to just more power.
How would that ever be possible?Auto shift would be a cool addition. (shifting when not pedaling)
Avinox does it. The motor runs the chainring to enable the shift. How would that ever be possible?
