Please find below the new spec sheets with updated geo.
Cheers for the information, hopefully all the online charts will get updated soon.

I was told by Velduro NZ prior to ordering that the estimated R weight in large was 22.6kg. Looking at all the literature and Robs own bike weight, should that have been 23.6kg?

This has not made my day :(

FYI: The Rogue R and XL frames are running slightly behind due to a component holdup. They'll land end of December rather than mid-month. (Yeah, we're gutted too.)

Got seriously overtaken by a Teewing on Direct Rd at the redwoods last week - like I was standing still - I thought "that will be me in another couple of weeks".

I guess the wait just increases the anticipation.

Im hoping to use a 190mm 40. Same a2c as a 170mm conventional fork.
The crown offset makes a big difference to the available steering lock.
The old boxxer with either 0 or 10mm were fairly poor.
The 40 has 18mm in the crown, the the other 34mm in the lowers and has plenty of lock.
So its worth checking crown offset on anything you are considering.
If you had a choice, would you run the Fox podium at 170 mm or 180 mm, the Fox 40 at 180 mm or 190 mm, or the intend infinity EN? I have some friends at Fox that can change the travel on the Podium.

Also curious about the Manitou Dorado USD forks, Comp, Expert, Pro. Anyone have any opinions or experience with these? I know there are coil options and custom tuning as well for them.

Cant really comment as ive never used any of the others. Haven't had a single crown fork for years, just don't like them, they will creak.
Certainly wouldn't buy a gen1 fox product!
Although if the rogue isnt dual crown certified when its released next year then I'll probably buy a 180mm grip2 38 if i can find one on clearance.

i added the new geo to bike-stats.de yesterday (Rogue 2026 model) and played around with changing axle to crown height and angle headsets. i think i'm gonna settle on increasing head angle with a 0.5° head set from works components (adds 3mm on the bottom and 8mm on the top) and setting my fork to +10mm axle to crown (travelizer spring, which results in 183mm of front travel on an Intend fork) to increase stack and keep the head angle the same. this will rise the bb and therefore changing the rear axle path curve to even more rearward travel. front center stays the same, but rear center will grow at sag:

Please tell us more about the Intend fork you are planning to use?

That Mezzer Pro is just 2000 grams and travel is configurable up to 180mm. The two positive air springs appeal to the tinkerer to ride high and still get good mid-stroke. As it's looking like the Rogue might take some effort to bring it under 50lb, this fork has some attraction as the Fox 36 doesn't even do 170mm anymore.

The weight weenie in me wants to see a fully capable carbon build. I reckon 1 kg can be stripped out of that weight with diligent product selection.
Might be hard; pedals, bottle/cage to be added, and DH casing tyres (if using).

It's so tough to get the weight out of these things (things = full power e-bikes). It's just all cooked in. You can make a handful of choices that help, but this bike has a HP (adds weight), sure it's CF but it has to be built solid because of what people are going to put these through, then an 800w battery, then it needs the big suspension, powerful brakes, the heavier wheels and the DH tires or it just doesn't work right.

Yah, careful spec choices and some well spent money can shave a few grams, but ultimately it doesn's save tons cause most of the weight is in those items above.

Don't get me wrong, I still buy all the things and try not to over-spec and keep weight as reasonable as I can, but on these bikes it's hard to make much of a dent.

I beg to differ. Excluding smaller batteries I made the following upgrades my full power E.

pedals 150 grams
one piece handlebar stem 200 grams
carbon wheels 350 grams
Full TI bolt kit 300 grams
Run and Exo+ of the front 200 grams
change from 11-51 to 11-45 cassette 150 grams.

There's 1350 grams right there. I could still save on a crank set, lighter rotors, seat, dropper without compromising performance.

Certainly a few grams to be saved there - Not sure I would want to run an EXO+ on my local trails though and the pedals haven’t even been added to the initial weight.

What do you weigh? I’ve got a Telum built for my Rogue and at 90kg they recommend a 425 spring.
Seems a bit light to me. I'd expect you to be 500 ish at 90kg for a 65 stroke shock 170 travel.

Try the ext calculator. it works for me for the bikes i have.

If i spit yours and the velduro deets i get

Tyres are very terrain and rider dependent. The I ride some silly stuff i'm not super heavy and 78kg and can get away with a exo+ on the front for all but the pointiest of stuff.

Even though i ride hard i am mechanically sympathetic. So i can get away with lighter stuff than what a similar weight rough rider can.

Thats a personal question 😆 but since you asked, my weight is 87kg so about 90kg with bike gear on. The spring was calculated by Suspension Tech and everything was dynoed to my weight and the bike kinematics.
