Any suggestion on proper Rogue frame sizing for my 180 cm height? I currently ride a Specialized size S3 full fat Kenevo with a Reach length of 470mm and sizing is good.

I’m 184 and have a enduro S3 and find it slightly small (and found the S4 too big) so interested in this too.
Although I have a 35mm stem and the S4 I rode had a 55mm stem so that is a factor.

this discussion is useless if you don't also state if you have longer/shorter legs/arms then the average at your size.

(fyi, also 1,84m with longer than average legs (nearly 4cm) and normal length arms so i can ride an s4 kenevo sl easily with a 50mm stem and 3cm of spacers and a 45mm riser bar). i will happily fit on a size large and can transfer all my parts over and will have nearly the same fit (effective top tube is a bit shorter on the venduro due to the steeper seat angle so i'll have to move the seat back a bit).
use bikeinsights.com and compare what you are riding now with the velduro and you'll see the difference in numbers and visually

Heard that not all shocks will work with this frame as there may be some interference between reservoirs and the charge port. X2 is good to go but may want to wait to purchase anything else until details come out.

Yes, thats the word. A list is due at some stage but the shocks that are expected to fit are the new 26 Fox's with horizontal reservoir, EXT, Suspension Tech Int A Kit Rouge spec, and maybe the DVO.Not sure what you mean

Looks like only horizontally mounted reservoirs, ext e-storia but not arma, don’t think Vivid will fit either.

Ive spoken with both Velduro NZ and Suspension Tech International here in NZ. I was going to put a RS Super Deluxe Coil on but was told it would not fit by Suspension Tech International. Ive therefore chosen to go with their A Kit which has been specifically built for the Rouge. The first shipment of frames are due here on November 27 last time I checked so good solid data should start to flow through in the 1 to 2 weeks after that. I'll aim to add some pictures of my RS on the bike for the group. My frame is Large and both my shocks are 65mm in stroke. Can't wait!

Shame it doesnt mention DVO or Formula shocks. And no verdict on Cane Creek. My original intent was to use my 24 Factory X2 but seems like that's a definite no. Next choice DVO Jade which seems like it might fit.

It seems to have limited coil shock choices.
In the doc they mention FOX DHX2 2026 205X65 Metric Trunnion (FOX Factory Tunned) but 205 x 65 it does not seems to be available at least on online shops and on the official FOX site.
The 2026 DHX2 it is available in 205 x 60, I guess it maybe possible to remove spacers to make it 65mm but I'm not familiar with this shock.

Does anyone know what rear shock will come with the frame only kit if it is offered in the future as it states on the Velduro website? It may be purchased separately I assume directly from Velduro as an optional item.

I believe it would be the same as the full spec bike so a
- Fox float X2 F-S 2026, 205X65mm (custom factory tuned for the Rogue)
I think/read it's the new Fox float X2, the version with the horizontal piggyback and a mid pivot specific tune they say.

I wanted to take a moment to clear up some of the confusion around rear shock compatibility on the Rogue and to acknowledge the frustration some of you have shared. We completely understand where you’re coming from.
During the early stages of development in New Zealand, the test team quickly settled on the 2026 Fox X2 as the best-performing shock for the Rogue. It worked exceptionally well with the bike’s kinematics, and as a result, it became the reference point for all further testing and tuning.
Because of that early decision, further compatibility testing with other shocks was unfortunately overlooked. This was partly due to design priorities later in development, such as relocating the charge port from the seat tube to the downtube to allow for more dropper post insertion and a lower standover height.
We completely understand that this won’t satisfy everyone, especially riders who were hoping to use a shock they already own. To help with this, we’re offering the custom-tuned 2026 Fox X2 at a significant discount when bought with the frame-only package.
If you’ve already pre-ordered a frame without a shock and would like to add one, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.

It might be just me, but the measurement instructions are confusing to me, horizontal vs straight-line. Picture (and logic) indicating straight-line limitations.
Additionally, 2025 trunnion Push VTX on my Amflow measures ~70mm, which should be well below the 85.3mm required distance for size L 205x65. Not clear why it's listed as non compliant shock. Can we get a better clarification?

Is there an option of this for a coil shock? (I’m fully intending on using he fox dhx2 so just getting the correct year model might be my only issue)

I did some research and apparently the FOX DHX2 2026 205x60 Trunnion comes with 2 x 2.5mm spacers installed, if you remove them it becomes a 205x65 that is the optimal travel for this bike.
The procedure is super simple, here the video for the MY 2025 but I guess is the same for the MY 2026:
