No...I'm using Pixel 9.
So I've finally got to the bottom of this - the dashboard data isn't recorded if the Osmo Action goes to sleep (I set it to sleep after 1 minute if idle to save battery when not recording). You can wake up the camera with the bike, but when you start recording it no longer records the telemetry data. STRANGE.

If you never let the camera go to sleep, this isn't a problem and the telemetry overly data works fine, but in order to save battery on the non recording sections I've had to set the Osmo to only use one screen, then reassigning and using the POWER/QS button to LOCK the screen (turning it off) with the power off fucntion set to 30 mins, and the record screen off set to 3 seconds.

This means the displays are off most of the time, hopefully preserving battery until you need to record.

Hi,
when will the amflow online shop for spare parts be available in Austria? You can finally buy the bikes in Austria now... yeah!

Dear Amflow Support - or any user who can answer:

Does the Amflow system support ANT+ connection to a head computer like Garmin Edge devices? If so - does it follow the ANT+ convention for LEV (Light Electric Vehicles)?

Thanks!

This was already answered, it does not support connection with a Garmin. Hopefully they will add that in a future.

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

We’re very sorry, but at the moment, the Amflow system does not support direct ANT+ connection to devices other than heart rate monitors, such as Garmin computers. You can try switching to Bluetooth connection mode to pair with your device, but we do not recommend this, as it may cause compatibility issues and could potentially result in the remote controllers disconnecting.

As for future firmware updates to support direct connection with more devices, such as Garmin units, we have already passed the feedback on to our engineers. Please keep an eye out for future updates.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hello Amflow Support,

do you know when the headlight shown at eurobike will be available?

Thank you.
Hello,

Thank you for your question! The headlight you mentioned is likely the official light launched by Avinox. At the moment, this headlight is already available for sale in mainland China. However, we have not yet received a clear timeline for its release in Europe or other regions. We recommend keeping an eye on our official website’s accessories page for future updates.

Thank you for your understanding!

@Amflow_Support I know the bike cannot be painted without invalidating the warranty, but I presume wrapping the frame is ok?
Hi! Wrapping the frame—such as using protective films or frame wraps—is perfectly fine and will not affect your warranty, as long as you ensure that the process does not damage the frame itself.

at 8% my power was much less, and I only got 1.5 miles of range going uphill before battery cut off.

Not much left at 3%
Thanks I think it was al 6% or 5%?
@support at wich % is? Thanks

Servicing the freehub on an HMA - how does this end cap come off. It says ‘loosen’ (reverse thread) and has flats to do so but there are no flats on the opposite end cap? What and how should i grip to do so?

Hi! When the battery level drops below 10%, the motor will start to reduce power output. Depending on the assist mode you are using, the amount of power reduction may vary.

Thanks but this is not true, today I drop full the battery and 6% is or 5% the the real data. As to your engeneers please.

There are no hard % numbers.

If you get to 10% just know the battery will start to quickly fade away, and you wont get very far

at 5% battery left you better be within a mile of home, unless you live in a flat are with no hills.

I had 11% battery left and was 2 miles away from home and had a 600' climb, and lost power the last half a mile

Thanks but this is not true
It is very true. It is exactly what I am trying to describe to you. Key words Amflow used was [[[depending on which mode you ride in.]]] If you are in eco all the time you might not feel the battery reduction at 6%, but of you ride in turbo you will feel it at 10% for sure. It is a gradual decline. I run low quite often as I do long rides with lots of hills

Well, that doesn’t work because the freehub just… freewheels. 😂

But, given amflow support is lying flat on me here I have pressed on.

Taking the opposite end cap off reveals a 12mm allen key. That allows the end cap on the freehub to be loosened.

Now the freehub is off and greased, the next problem is getting the freehub back on, as the pawls are an interference fit with their housing…. somehow need to hold all three pawls closed at the same time to slide it back in.

I’m starting to get really frustrated by all this. I hope i get it sorted in time for my ride on Friday! 🥵

You will have to unscrew this ring with 4 holes first, these holes are for putting in a pin spanner wrench or you can also do it with more common retaining ring pliers. This ring has integrated rubber lip seal which protects the internals. After you put in the freehub driver you put over this ring and screw it back in (keep an eye on not damaging lip seal), but make sure you put few very small drops of thread locker on this ring thread (clean everything first), you don't wanna this ring unscrew itself because it will lock-up your freehub and will rotate the front chainring/motor when you stop pedalling, happened to me a few times before I used the tread locker ... I then replaced this hub for DT Swiss 350 Hybrid hub with a ratchet and never looked back, so more simple and reliable ...

Brilliant - good to know - thanks!

I just did a work around with some builder’s line wrapped to hold the pawls closed as I slid it in. Then snaggled it out at the last…. All good. 👍
