A mate is thinking of buying a pro but doesn’t want one if they end up with the restriction locked, so I said I’d ask the question before he spends his 10 grand.
I saw a video somewhere with an Amflow guy saying they intend to fully comply with EU regs so I think it’s a fair question. It’s no secret and they don’t have to answer but the answer could be interesting?
It also seems blocked to some and not to others?

Once again, and as others have mentioned, certain things you have to figure out yourself.

Have your friend (or you're asking "for a friend"?), go with a different brand if you're not comfortable with what you're getting. Lots of bikes out there on the market.

It doesn’t bother me either way, it’s exactly as I said. I’m not looking to buy one.

@Amflow_Support - "Freehub Pre-engagement" is a great feature, especially with an E13 sidekick, but if the wheel is spinning or your pedal cadence is over a certain rpm the feature isn't as effective. It seems the motor spins slower than the wheel/pedal stroke so it's unable to eliminate the headband in the hub.

What is the difference between the
  1. Avinox Ride app(green icon), or
  2. Avinox app(blue icon)?
Hi there,

To deliver higher service quality to riders across all regions and brands—and to unlock every feature of our latest firmware—we have released the brand-new Avinox Ride App. It now supports one-click migration of historical data, so you can switch seamlessly and enjoy a fuller product experience.

Going forward, the original Avinox App will no longer receive updates or maintenance. If you still have the old version, please migrate your data and download Avinox Ride App at your earliest convenience.

Please feel free to contact us again if the issue still persists.

@Amflow_Support

What is the shock hardware specification for the lower eyelet into the clevis? M6 / M8 / M10? Width 21.8 / 22.2mm ?
Hi there,
Thank you for your description.
Could you kindly confirm whether you are referring to the rear-shock mounting bolt?
If so, the relevant specification is M8 × 31 mm.
We hope this information is helpful.

HI. I'm surprised but it seems that it's not possible to get the ride data from the app and save it as a GPX in a phone without an external app, it's not practical.
It would be very useful to create an 'export to GPX' in the app menu

for AMFLOW support & customer service.

I'm sharing my 'adventure' of a brand new customer loving the product, but...oh my god!
I just bought my AMFLOW but I haven't received the Warranty. I just discovered that the shop where I bought my bike was buying the bikes from another shop (official) in another country to resell the bikes without saying he was not an official reseller (how can you know that when you go to a big Emtb shop???). So it's not an official dealer apparently. I contacted you to inform you about this problem but gave me no solution yet for the warranty, that's not correct. It seems that you don't care at all if your consumers are abused by an official dealer, doing unauthorized B2B with another shop where the consumers are going to end up without any Warranty???

AMFLOW, you have to take responsibility to prevent your officials sellers to do that, they represent you, you are responsable for them, and have to assume the warranty consequencies if they do something crazy like that in your network. The consumer should have a warranty from the brand network despite where he purshased the bike, seller or reseller. What about if a shop closes, goes out of business or if the customer moves in another town or country, that's totally unrealistic? Better to not say that you warranty anything at this point.
You need to take this situation seriously and come up with a realistic solution from a trusted brand like yours, don't you think?

Hello - thanks for the reply. I'm looking for specs for the rear shock eyelet hardware (non-Trunnion) for the part of the shock that connects to the clevis link by the seat tube.

Hi there,
Thanks for your feedback.

The response from our engineer team is that the pre-engagement feature assists in positioning the hub pawls by briefly and controllably "pre-pushing" the motor at the moment of startup. This function is most effective during stationary or low-speed starts. However, when the rear wheel is rotating at high speed, the motor operates under a maximum RPM limit for safety reasons. As a result, it may be difficult for the motor to generate the relative displacement required for the pawls to fully engage within a short time. This leads to reduced effectiveness of the pre-engagement under such conditions.

This behavior is a manifestation of the physical and control boundaries of the feature and is not indicative of a device malfunction.

We greatly appreciate you bringing this usage scenario to our attention. Your feedback will be taken into consideration for future improvements and optimizations.

@Amflow_Support
Would a permanently engaged freehub while coasting prevent the motor rattle? Could you please check this with an engineer and provide feedback? The rattle stops as soon as pedaling begins, so my understanding is that the motor only needs to remain slightly engaged while coasting to eliminate this issue. If possible, please address this with a software update as soon as you can.

In addition, could you confirm whether the DJI Avinox motor can be opened and regreased without voiding the warranty?
Thick high-performance grease between the gears should get rid of the rattle roo.

That's sort of what I assumed, I appreciate the feedback from the team.

Hey guys, thanks so much for using this as an information/communication link!
I am looking to purchase an extra magnet ring (USA), but I can’t seem to find it on the Amflow US site.
Can you please point me to a link?
thanks!

Thank you for clarifying. We currently only support connections for Trunnion mount rear shocks. We do not yet support other types of shock mounts, such as eye-to-eye rear shocks.

Dear Amflow Support. At least take your time to understand the questions before answering. Its not the first time your answer ris useless because you missed the point.

Without wanting to de-rail the thread with more irrelevant crap.

In fairness to Amflow Support, at least they're here trying to answer questions and secondly, a lot of questions are posted without much thought or clarity (and even more without people even bothering to read or search the thread where it's already been answered 12 times).

Take your own post. It's equally useless as it doesn't even mention which post your talking about or even take the time to explain how the point has been missed - really helpful ! We're all very grateful for your time, energy and thoughtfulness. :)

Hey support team!

It has been a while since it was asked so I want to follow up and revisit the discussion around having the Avinox system transmit bike data via ANT+ for integration with devices such as the Garmin Edge bike computers. With my two other E-bikes, both transmit to the Garmin with info such as Mode, output, rider input, cadence, battery and range. I can't seem to get anything from the Amflow so I assume there is still nothing being transmitted. The on board bike computer is quite good and I like it will take my heart rate monitor as an input but I use the Garmin Edge 1050 for extra metrics as well as navigation, routing and fitness tracking so it would be really nice if the data from the Amflow could be shared via ANT+ like most other bikes seem to do. This is pretty much the only thing I am missing and otherwise, the Amflow blows my other E-bikes out of the water in every other way. :)

Please add this to your feature request list if its not already on there. I am confident a lot of other folks would like to have this also.

Thank you!

I can't currently buy a new power cable for my SRAM EAGLE GX AXS here in Europe. I absolutely need the SRAM cable with part number 11.3018.028.003. If you have one in stock, I would like to purchase it immediately. My EMTB is currently out of commission.

Hi there! The SRAM electronic shifting rear derailleur power extension cable is provided by SRAM and is not specially designed by Amflow.
You can purchase it from SRAM’s online or offline dealers.
If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us at [email protected] .
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi there! Thank you for your suggestion. Currently, the system can only pair with ANT+ heart rate monitor devices and does not support transmitting full bike data via ANT+.

We’ve recorded your request and will share it with our product development team, and we hope to make this possible in future updates. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback — it’s valuable for helping us improve and deliver a better riding experience.

You can buy the Bosch version (which is also cheaper) then either buy a seperate MALE Higo micro-A connector to replace the Bosch connector OR simply cut both connectors off and join the wires (or add your own connector). There's only two wires inside.
Here's the connector..... HIGO-S2-MA
Here's the power cable............
