There are some things you dont need to ask official support. This is one of them.Silly question
Once again, and as others have mentioned, certain things you have to figure out yourself.A mate is thinking of buying a pro but doesn’t want one if they end up with the restriction locked, so I said I’d ask the question before he spends his 10 grand.
I saw a video somewhere with an Amflow guy saying they intend to fully comply with EU regs so I think it’s a fair question. It’s no secret and they don’t have to answer but the answer could be interesting?
It also seems blocked to some and not to others?
It doesn’t bother me either way, it’s exactly as I said. I’m not looking to buy one.Once again, and as others have mentioned, certain things you have to figure out yourself.
Have your friend (or you're asking "for a friend"?), go with a different brand if you're not comfortable with what you're getting. Lots of bikes out there on the market.
Hi there,What is the difference between the
- Avinox Ride app(green icon), or
- Avinox app(blue icon)?
Hi there,@Amflow_Support
What is the shock hardware specification for the lower eyelet into the clevis? M6 / M8 / M10? Width 21.8 / 22.2mm ?
Hi there,
Thank you for your description.
Could you kindly confirm whether you are referring to the rear-shock mounting bolt?
If so, the relevant specification is M8 × 31 mm.
We hope this information is helpful.
Hi there,@Amflow_Support - "Freehub Pre-engagement" is a great feature, especially with an E13 sidekick, but if the wheel is spinning or your pedal cadence is over a certain rpm the feature isn't as effective. It seems the motor spins slower than the wheel/pedal stroke so it's unable to eliminate the headband in the hub.
That's sort of what I assumed, I appreciate the feedback from the team.Hi there,
Thanks for your feedback.
The response from our engineer team is that the pre-engagement feature assists in positioning the hub pawls by briefly and controllably "pre-pushing" the motor at the moment of startup. This function is most effective during stationary or low-speed starts. However, when the rear wheel is rotating at high speed, the motor operates under a maximum RPM limit for safety reasons. As a result, it may be difficult for the motor to generate the relative displacement required for the pawls to fully engage within a short time. This leads to reduced effectiveness of the pre-engagement under such conditions.
This behavior is a manifestation of the physical and control boundaries of the feature and is not indicative of a device malfunction.
We greatly appreciate you bringing this usage scenario to our attention. Your feedback will be taken into consideration for future improvements and optimizations.
Thank you for clarifying. We currently only support connections for Trunnion mount rear shocks. We do not yet support other types of shock mounts, such as eye-to-eye rear shocks.Hello - thanks for the reply. I'm looking for specs for the rear shock eyelet hardware (non-Trunnion) for the part of the shock that connects to the clevis link by the seat tube.
Without wanting to de-rail the thread with more irrelevant crap.Dear Amflow Support. At least take your time to understand the questions before answering. Its not the first time your answer ris useless because you missed the point.
Hi there! The SRAM electronic shifting rear derailleur power extension cable is provided by SRAM and is not specially designed by Amflow.Amflow Support
I can't currently buy a new power cable for my SRAM EAGLE GX AXS here in Europe. I absolutely need the SRAM cable with part number 11.3018.028.003. If you have one in stock, I would like to purchase it immediately. My EMTB is currently out of commission.
Hi there! Thank you for your suggestion. Currently, the system can only pair with ANT+ heart rate monitor devices and does not support transmitting full bike data via ANT+.Hey support team!
It has been a while since it was asked so I want to follow up and revisit the discussion around having the Avinox system transmit bike data via ANT+ for integration with devices such as the Garmin Edge bike computers. With my two other E-bikes, both transmit to the Garmin with info such as Mode, output, rider input, cadence, battery and range. I can't seem to get anything from the Amflow so I assume there is still nothing being transmitted. The on board bike computer is quite good and I like it will take my heart rate monitor as an input but I use the Garmin Edge 1050 for extra metrics as well as navigation, routing and fitness tracking so it would be really nice if the data from the Amflow could be shared via ANT+ like most other bikes seem to do. This is pretty much the only thing I am missing and otherwise, the Amflow blows my other E-bikes out of the water in every other way.
Please add this to your feature request list if its not already on there. I am confident a lot of other folks would like to have this also.
Thank you!
Will this do it ?Amflow Support

you need the 780mm version, which is sold outWill this do it ?
You can buy the Bosch version (which is also cheaper) then either buy a seperate MALE Higo micro-A connector to replace the Bosch connector OR simply cut both connectors off and join the wires (or add your own connector). There's only two wires inside.Amflow Support
