• Warning!!

Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.

Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

Well I’ve had the SpeedBox 1.6b for my gen 5 now for just over 130km and so far it’s Been great, installation was a breeze ie no faffing about with the postion of the speed sensor etc and not had a fault, though apart from adjusting the wheel circumference in the flow app to get speed to the default 22mph(35km what SpeedBox recommend to have the least trouble..calibration with gps app)I’m more than happy with the recomended speed,as I wasn’t planning on taking up the 100nm,750w update either due to going through the three chain cycle already with standard power 😂

This is the new version, interesting. The old version never worked properly. Please let us know after a longer time and more km.

I won't be buying Bosch if they making it so difficult
Well I guess if you are so keen to break the law and enrich the hackers it's your choice, don't whine though if you get caught and they crush your bike!

Hey guys, so i have the gen 4 rim magnet on speedfun. I only get 523003 error on slow pedals or mostly slow uphill pedals but rarely get errors if my cadence is high or faster downhills. I am running 15.12.3 software as i got it new from the shop and they updated it before i got it (smh). I am certain i have installed it correctly with a lot of troubleshooting done. What could cause the error?

Possible reason/ solutions:

- the firmware
- maybe i can run 2 magnets on either end to trick the motor i am doing more revolutions
- does changing wheel circumference help? Its at 2300mm stock

sorry but nothing will help you, so sad.. The Bosch system is simply too smart.

I'm waiting for more reviews of the USA version with 32kmh

Just came back from a extended weekend in wales on the and the speedbox has been flawless over another 160km🙏

he will remotely connect to your laptop connected to your ebike and flash US version of last firmware, perfectly working, limit raised to 32kmh

Same for me. It was done in 10 min. But first make the update of engine because every update will delete this option and probably you will need to pay again.
