Hi,
is that the only custome Tuning from Amflow or are they other changes to the standard Fox Float X?

Thank you

Can support confirm when the new ride app will be on the Google play store, and if not why not ?. To install and update the new app android users have to remove security measures on their phones. Not an idea solution. Why would the new app not be on the play store by the old one is ?

The motor's expansion port is made for the X0E Derailleur Power Cable (SRAM internal material number 11.3018.028.003). Once you upgrade, you’ll have access to the autoshift feature! If you’d like to buy the cable, just contact an authorized SRAM dealer.
you’ll have access to the autoshift feature!

Hi, tell me about this feature, how does it work and what does it do?

Thank you for your question.

The new Avinox Ride app has already been submitted to the Google Play Store and is currently under review. Unfortunately, we don’t have a confirmed release date yet, as the review process depends on Google. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Hi, tell me about this feature, how does it work and what does it do?
Sorry for not expressing it accurately before, to be precise it is SmoothShift
After upgrading Amflow PL to U4 firmware (version 00.10.16.06), you can enable the quick shift function.
When this function is enabled, the motor will quickly rotate to shift gears when the vehicle detects a rear derailleur shift (no pedaling required).

Notes:

1. This function requires pairing with a Sram Transmission electronic rear derailleur (mechanical shifting is not supported).
2. Supported electronic rear derailleur models are: XX, X0, GX, S1000
3. The vehicle can detect the status of the electronic rear derailleur, and when this function is enabled, it can trigger automatic shifting when the rear derailleur shifts.

Thank you for your inquiry, we're further confirming this with our senior engineers. We'll keep you informed once we have any information

Thank you
We’ve checked with our engineers, and in addition to the custom tuning, there are also adjustments made based on the geometry and linkage design of the Amflow frame. These modifications ensure optimal performance specifically for our bikes.

Hi Amflow Team!

TL;DR: Great Bike, congratulations! Are you planning to integrate a software feature for crash detection and notification of emergency contact with position data?

Long version: Thank you for the info regarding the SIM. I now had time to ride the bike in my home trails. A lot of fun! Its similar Geo to my old one, so I felt home immediately. Just the bottom bracket is a little bit high for my taste (brought it down with Mullet and flip chip on 29 setting) and the 800 handlebars I will never understand (but quickly resolved by saw). I have the silver one and I like everything except the 2 finger brake levers (and the squeaky pads), but also these are replaced easily. So far everything is good!

There is only one thing missing for perfection for me - crash detection and notification of emergency contact with position data. I use a Garmin Edge 520 and would like to get rid of it. The crash notification was always a gimmick to me and I used it primarily to calm my wife when I went on my lone adventures on the trails. Unfortunately one time I had a bad crash and the thing I thought of as gimmick was really useful. Since then my wife doesn't let me go riding without the crash notification. That's the only reason I still use the Edge - but if you'd integrated such a feature into the cockpit/app I'd finally be able to get rid of the Edge.

Best regards,
Herbi

could you say which adjustments?

@Amflow_Support ,

I live in Phoenix, AZ and am concerned how the motor will perform in 100° temperatures. It’s not uncommon for the air temperature to still be that warm as the sun goes down. What can you share about the testing and expected performance in those conditions?

Ya know, I have been wondering the same. I got my bike in winter, motors love cold.

I recently rode at 92 degrees.... I thought it might cut back in power as the ambient temp is important for electric motors, and maybe it did, but I didn't notice a difference (I am riding turbo all the time, and I can feel the motor does get hot if I ride non stop with no break in the ride).

DJI could have approached this a couple of ways...they could have a thermistor to monitor the temp of the winding, (which I suspect is NOT the case, or they would have more confidence in extreme heat instead of recommending otherwise).... or they could be protecting the motor via firmware in the controller with a current limit profile over time. That would assume some ambient temp range (I'd guess, more likely)

Regardless, when the outside temp is Hot, it just reduces the amount of current the motor can draw over X amount of time, without thermal overload. In cold, its the opposite.... it could put out more (if the controller has the capability.)

ITs really hard to say, because we don't know how hard the motor is being pushed relative to it's peak continuous output capabilities. Continuous is more important that Peak, with high temp. I'd say maybe just ride on Trail mode when its like 110 degrees out...that will reduce the current draw / average temp of the motor over time.

Man when it's that Hot, time for a swim!

Cheers

Thank you. Logs sent today
Hey Bud,

I had similar errors one time.... not sure if it's the same for you, but worth checking because it was a stupid thing and easy fix.

Check your back wheel axle ...if it's loose, the sensor is wobbling, and it throws all kinds of errors...the system doesn't know what to think.

Cheers.

My Shuttle SL (Fazua) survived 107 degrees for 1.5 hours in trail mode last night. No noticeable throttling of the power either. I'm going for a new personal record of 110.

i have done a emtb-race with my amflow last week 😎

it was about 33 degrees C / 91 fahrenheit . . 750m elevation / 22min in boost . . motortemp. was max 99 degress C / 210 fahrenheit . . no throtteling or other temperature issues 🤙

both rocky rockymountains had hughe problems and also a bosch gen.4 rider was told from his app that motor temp. was too high 😗

i‘ve won the race 🤙 second place was also an amflow

Dear Amflow Support Team,

I have the following questions:
  • Can the SUPERNOVA M99 Pro 2 headlight be connected in a way that allows for full power utilization? Should the Main Power cable be connected to the display and the Power Boost cable to the motor block in the Amflow PL?

  • Is it possible to connect the Avinox M1 with the Hammerhead Karoo 3 to gather data such as cadence, power, motor power, gradient, elevation, etc.?
Thank you in advance for your support!

Upon checking the compatibility list, the M99 PRO 2 is not supported, because there are chances that it will fail to light up, while the other model will always be lit up. To connect the light to the control display, there will be an E-bike light extension cable to be launched by Avinox in the future, please kindly note.

Additionally, there are only a few third-party products that could be paired with the Avinox system, but the Hammerhead Karoo 3 hasn't been tested with our bike, therefore, I regret to inform you that we don't have information about it. We deeply apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to you.

Hi Amflow_Support,
thank you for the reply. Can you tell me, if Lupine SL X or Lupine SL MiniMax are on the compatibility list?
Thank you!

Thanks. The error had cleared by time I got home and has not reappeared. DJI got me to send logs across and kept in contact to check the status of the error
Happy with the response and the approach taken by DJI. Very happy to work with DJI directly and not a LBS

Hi Amflow Support!
Thank you for being here. All companies should be here like you are. I’m sorry if it’s been covered, as I haven’t read all 18 pages. When will your bike arrive in the USA?
Thank you!

Hi there! Thank you for your interest in Amflow.
We are actively preparing for the launch of Amflow in the USA, and we expect to officially start sales in Q3.
We truly appreciate your support and patience.

Is there any chance that you guys will offer more colors? I won’t have a black bike and I’m not a big fan of silver. White would be nice.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! At the moment, we don’t have any confirmed plans to offer additional color options. However, we truly appreciate your suggestion and will be sure to share your feedback with our product team for their consideration.

Hey everyone! My new Amflow PL Carbon 800W (size L) is arriving soon from China. Local forums keep mentioning that it's crucial to perform initial suspension service on both shocks right away. Apparently, Fox 2026 model dampers may contain metal debris from manufacturing. Anyone else dealt with this?
