New 2025 Wild

You are literally the same as me, I've ridden the demo large at our shop and I've personally ordered a large, but it does feel a little long. I'm coming off of a Pole Voima. If you were the feel of a nimble bike my suggestion is to go with a medium.
I am 184 cm tall, and this is my first Orbea Wild (2025) in size Large. Coming from a size L Orbea Rallon, it does feel noticeably longer but still very nimble and overall offers a very pleasant riding experience.

Im also very interested in this, can’t see why it won’t work if it’s the same form factor and assume a bracket bolts onto 600 battery so the mounting points should be the same.
I’m interested in this too and I emailed Orbea but they said no. However I don’t understand why not. Has anyone else checked this out

hello everyone. is anyone having problems with the link cracking from shock? when I press it I hear a crackling sound for the first 1-2 cm.

what video format can I upload?

I only have 20 km on the clock but yeah, I was already wondering about that cracking sound. I haven't had the time to investigate it yet, but I definitely will. 🧐

From what I've been able to detect, I think the main pivot bolt is causing the problem. There's a lot of play.

Have anybody already dropped motor from 2025 model?

I'm planning to replace brake hose and shift and dropper cable outer housings. Brake hose because new brakes need banjo style mounting and M20 have direct hose to caliper. On shift cable's I trust Shimano SP41 for both shifting quality and longevity instead standard Jagwire.

I don't know if it's possible to replace shifting cable without dropping the motor. I guess least older models there was some zip tie on top of motor. Dropping motor would for sure make this all easier.

Blue book tells to replace the bushings if "removed from the frame". Do I need to remove these from from frame when motor is dropped? Are these Bosch or Orbea parts? As Orbea sells these only with Motor bolt kit, about 50eur, and new bolts etc are not needed anyway

Now done, it was completely possible to replace the outers without dropping motor. Brake hose did slide easily, derailleur outer was more tight, but just possible.
The Rockshox Reverb tool was again priceless, 3M wire pulling lubricant LUB-I is good stuff for this. There may be also other type of skin friendly lubricants that are suitable :ROFLMAO:

Does anybody already have 2025 with Fox X2 shock? I would be grateful is you could share standard tune from serial/product code. Blu book gives interesting tunes CX001.7 and Rezi LBX001. It would be nice yo see what Fox states about the shock.

Interesting, Fox web doesn't recognize CX001.7 and Rezi LBX001 at all.

I'm thinking of doing this, really want to put TRP EVO DHs on my '25 so that I can swap out wheelsets with other bikes in the garage that have the slightly thicket TRP rotors on them (and well because I prefer them). Did you drop the motor or just use lube and Reverb tool? For my '22 Rise, people had said this could easily be done but my bike had a zip tie up in there and it was impossible without dropping the motor.

I didn't drop the motor. With Reverb tool and lube, the brake hose was extremely easy. I did also derailleur and dropper outers, those was more stiff, but still doable without dropping the motor.

Thank you, I really appreciate it :)
I am not sure if we had the same issue, but mine (2025 Wild) also started to procude a creaking/cracking noise while pedalling and "bouncing" on the bike. It drove me nuts, investigated every possibility. It turns out it was 'just' the motor cover. The upper edge of the motor cover on the non-drive side was slightly touching the motor. While it was under load, of course the whole frame/motor are flexes slightly and since it was touching the plastic motor cover it made a creaking noise. I have filed down like a 1mm of the plastic where it was touching, and it is totally fine ever since.

BTW I had 1 other issue, not sure somebody had it. The rear axle got loose like every ride, despite it was torqued to spec (10nm). I have decided to add a little bit of locktite to the thread and torqued it to 15nm. Not sure yet if it will keep it tight. Did anyobdy have this issue too?

In my case, the creaking/cracking noise disappeared after a few rides. I don’t know what caused it, but it went away. Speaking of the rear axle, I had the same issue — it came loose after a few rides. I didn’t notice it until my shifting got so bad that the bike was almost undriveable.

My 2025 M20 was 22,74kg. Size M, without pedals. Factory options 600Wh battery, Fox 38 performance fork, DH casing tires, 200mm dropper and MC11 stem.

Now it is 20.86kg. XTR drivetrain(XT cassette) and brakes, SRAM XX cranks, OneUp carbon bar and dropper, DT carbon wheels and Schwalbe radial tires.
It is soo good🥰

With Maxxis DH casing tyres exactly +300g, compared to Schwalbes. It would be quite easy to build it under magical 20kg without too big compromises. Especially as mullet.

Thanks for the insight! Super Trail or Super Gravity casing? Or not sure it has changed names with the new radials - I mean name of the sidewall options.

If using a range extender, will the system drain this first, last or use the main and extender at the same time? My main concern is if the system power will at any time be decreased.
The 750Wh battery is heavy so I'm looking at 600+250Wh if going with the 2025 Wild.

Yes they have😀 Rear Albert Gravity Pro, front Magic Mary Trail Pro

Bosch uses main battery and extender same time. So there shouldn’t be any power decrease. Instead, we should soon get some power increase as form of firmware upgrade, 100Nm🤩

Thanks man, good to hear. At what state of charge do you notice a degradation of power with the Bosch system? I have the 2025 Rise with the Shimano motor, and the power drops significantly when SoC is below 20%.

I only have done couple test or setup rides on my home trails, so not much to tell about battery yet. Maybe this could be good topic for Bosch sub-forum. Least on my previous Gen 4 pre smart system bike with 625Wh battery i haven't notice any significant drop, but then never run battery totally empty.
