Hola amigos.

Saludos desde España. Llevo un tiempo leyéndoos, interesados en montar un CF50 o un LCE930. Ayer me encontré con este nuevo producto de SZZS, el CEF55, y me pareció muy interesante.


Ya había visto el diseño Seraph/TanTan, pero en este caso con una geometría mejorada y, lo más importante, un tamaño de amortiguador moderno (210x55). El diseño anterior (SERAPH) tenía un 200x57 obsoleto.

También me parece interesante que incluya la pantalla en el marco, y las opciones de batería, todas ellas a 48v, incluido un extensor de carbono y 280w.

¿Qué te parece este marco?

I made the purchase now and have to wait about 90 days for it to arrive in Brazil and assemble this new bike, I haven't defined the components yet.

Acabo de comprar uno, el montaje se hace cerca de Barcelona ;-)
 
Muchas cosas que van de lujo: el motor y el extendor; la geometría moderna y la posibilidad de inserción de tija telescópica.
Y el contacto de Jean!
 
Well… end of the story for the frame: it won’t be produced until end of April for the best, then a few more weeks to paint and process to ship, then the delivery is due early June and as I cannot wait so long, I will go for a CEF50 at the end.
Both frames are so similar I will swap all parts without hassle I guess!
 
Where are people buying these frames from? I rather fancy the idea of one

I'm getting it through Alibaba. The link is down and should only be back at the end of April. I've been talking to Jean Wang.
 
Is the integrated screen and metric shock only change vs CEF50?
I'm wondering if it is worth waiting for a CEF55 or just order CEF50...

It looks like the CEF55 is back in stock. I'm wondering how you pay your order, with a wire transfer directly to SZZS or via Alibaba?

well, they send you a quote and a link to pay. My CEF50 will come with the display on top tube but stick to a metric shock, which is easy to deal with.
 
There is the cef50 with an integrated screen, I bought the cef55 so I could compare it on the road, I liked my cef50.

Can you comment what the main reason for you buying cef55 if you already have cef50? Is it because of a metric shock and a more modern geometry?

It's a gift for my wife and I want to have both models to analyze, I'm thinking about having a business model in the future.
 
just noted that a short youtube video of CEF55 was posted. It looks like the linkage is made of aluminum and frame has an external battery connection.

Más o menos serán 1 mes y medio con entrega clásica, puedes ser en 2 semanas si por aire / UPS. Lo tendrán en stock en 3 semanitas.
 
My CEF55 will ship around the 10th of may. The frame is ready, but I'm waiting for the new carbon range extender.
I'm doing a SL-build and should have gone with the CEF50 because the 55 will give me a 400g weight penalty due to the yoke being aluminum. The reason I stayed with the 55 is because I like the geo and lines better.
It's my frame in the attached link. The bracket for the range extender will be changed for the black one.

Any idea what shock we can use with this? trunnion or traditional? interested in this frame for my first emtb frame

I’m running the carbon 480wh with the additional 280wh carbon range extender.

Bike looks awesome.
In catalog I have, the shock total length is 205. So with 210 it might be a good idea to use offset bushings to Increase a clearance a bit.

What fork are you running?
