We had to wait a full ten minutes for Ermintrude there to shift her arse so we could get through that gate. Pair of hopeless townies wondering how you move a cow.

Just hold a stick out sideways and move towards them.

With sheep, just take your trousers off and they run - especially if they recognise you.
That's the beauty of the kilt sneak up behind and they don't hear the Spaver ( zipper ) getting pulled down. Back legs in the wellies away you go , a Welsh man called Jones told me about that wee trick ๐Ÿ‘

My ride today to, around, and from Kingley Vale in West Sussex in pics.

On the way to Kingley Vale, the River Lavant (a winterbourne) with wild watercress growing in it. Unfortunately can't eat it because of the sheep crap.

After riding through Kingley Vale (where I fell off of course), a pic of the Solent, Chichester Harbour, and the Isle of Wight in the distance.

Coming back on a single track saw something ahead move pretty quickly off the track so stopped and grabbed my phone to take a pic. A deer growing his new antlers stood perfectly still for me, beautiful animal.

Coming home down a track pedal strike galore, getting so overgrown couldn't see the ruts. Another month and it'll be impassable. Can't believe how much growth there's been in the last week.

My question is, how do they get there, that one doesn't even look like it could have been driven in there!
Thereโ€™s an old road about 40-50m higher. Probably someone drank too much and went over the side โ€ฆthen just left it there. 40 years ago maybe?
