Man, I gotta come check out your neck o’ the woods. That’s beautiful there.

It’s really quiet during the weekdays. Only saw 3 people at the beginning of the ride. Lots of logging history on Burke Mountian …use to be called Dollar Mountain.

The downside is that there’s only 70 trails (mapped) sanctioned. The other 40+ trails are hidden. Very technical trails …dirt, rocks, loam, roots. Oh, and lots of trees.

Hello Peeps ..

Went out last night to see if I could find some of the bottle I lost at the weekend( and since the hole I put in the back of my leg which is still healing ) ..it seemed to work and I found some more speed .
Beautiful evening with clear views over the first third of Kielder Water from the summit of Deadwater Fell..

Lord Wardens, Bangor N Ireland not long ago.

A cracker pootle through the woods today and it was perfect riding conditions. Warm, dry and sunny although some stubborn muddy puddles still persist they didn’t detract from a grand day out.

My front mud guard is off which means it’s officially summer.

And no coffee and buns as we’re getting a takeaway tonight ( Indian, seeing as you asked)

At least 30 years .. Hand built frame, made to measure .. Hope hubs (new bearings) ... Italian rims (that was cool in the day). Magnesium Rockshocks .. work of art. Newish saddle ....

Seems a bit extreme ..would they not just tell you without resorting to that sort of violence..

If we are taking pictures of old steads then here is my Rocky mountain etsx 90 ex team race bike that's about 20 year's old.
Even still got the monkey lite carbon bars, not that I would really like to trust them.
