Another cold day but perfect riding conditions along local trails that (mostly) are nice and dry.

New wheels on today and Im happy with them and the tyre combo. Felt I rolled faster and definitely noticed a faster engagement. But of course that might just be new toy syndrome.

A grand day out ended on a low note as my local cafe was unexpectedly closed so I have enclosed an archive pic just for reference.

Nice ..but lacking a certain black and white pudding plus tinned plum tomatoes ( the only tomatoes acceptable on a breakfast ) ..are you also known as Wallace of Wallace & Gromit fame ..?
You seem to be using that grand day out slogan quite frequently ..

New helmet day. My 8+ year old TLD helmet makes my wife nervous as, in her words "I dont want to take care of quad or a vegetable!" and after reading this article

Nice!

Bought a full face in October last year for exactly the same reason. To wear when I'm doing silly stuff, which from your pics you do far more often than me.

I have a detachable piece to convert to full face rather than two helmets... It's a Bell. Probably not as strong but not far off. Clip it on when on the more technical stuff or the potential risk is higher.
