Kenevo Gen1 29er Front and Rear Kenevo

Let's hope you won't have any mud or pebble stones that stick to your tires.

Only get rain in winter and it doesn't stick like your conditions you have in UK.
We have pea gravel and Rocky terrain and super hoy and dry conditions in Perth All summer.
Got a mate who's running these and they are bullet proof. He hasn't had any issues with his.

Maybe the angle is misleading, but it looks really tight in the front, i.e. the rubber "strings" (how do you call them in English?) almost touching the fork arch.
I've just installed a 29x2.4 Conti Argotal in a Yari 29" fork, and there's about 20mm space between the tire tread and the fork. On your picture it seems more like around 7mm?

They are mate , look at the bottom at the axle mounts . 27.5 angle up slightly vs 29 are level !

Definitely 29ner got serial number checked all good. These rims are beefy and turf plus these Pireli tires are chunky.

Out of interest, can put a sliding caliper on the tire and measure the casing width, tread width and height of the tire? Haven't seen much info on the Pirelli tires at all so far.

Also, wider rims normally make the tire wider as well and therefore reduce its height. So the 37mm internal width rim should actually work in your favor here.

The rim outside diameter is 41mm
Tire height from rim is 63mm and width is 70mm. I'm also running cush core both front and back

I do feel the boxxer is the better option when putting a 29 wheel on the front of a bike it wasn't designed for as the axle to crown is approx 15mm less than a single crown fork of the same travel.

Boxxer 180mm a2c in 29" is 582mm.
Zeb 180mm a2c in 27.5" is 577mm.
Zeb 180mm a2c in 29" is 596mm

Pretty certain that Formula A2C you have in your chart is for the 27.5" version of this fork.

According to their website it's 575mm for 29" @170mm. Plus or minus 5. I must have picked up a reading with the minimum value somewhere, corrected that.

I have an S2.
On the front it should be fine. The down tube doesn't come closer to the tire than the fork crown with a Yari/Lyrik 29" 170mm under full compression, there's still about 25mm distance to the down tube. It might interfere a bit with my longer winter front mud guard though, this I haven't been able to test yet (currently out with a broken collarbone).

On the rear, I'm not entirely sure. Switching the rear wheel to a 29er seemed to be ok when I removed the air of my shock in regards of clearance with the saddle and seat stays, but I could only test with a front wheel and its 15mm hub in combination with the 12mm rear axle, so it wasn't aligned as it would be with proper rear wheel. I don't have a 29" rear wheel that I could test with yet, but I should have one this year.
It might even be 1.5mm better than it appeared with that proper rear wheel (as I suspect the 12mm axle pushed the wheel up a bit inside the 15mm hub), but I'm not sure I'm actually going to run a 29" wheel in the back. It will be a really tight fit with the rear mud guard, but maybe I can rearrange it a bit or find another way to protect the motor & bearings.

Went for the first test ride after upgrades and just as I expected its awesome. Set some PBs on first ride after a month and half off.
Rolls faster than before over knarl and in general. I'm railing burms better.
I will have judge jumps differently. I over jumped a double and flat landed but held it together. Suspension is stiffer since putting in extra 2.5 spacers in rear. But it's helped a bit with casing drops.

After waiting one year for a SC Bullit X01, I decided to "pull the plug" and go with a Kenevo. Really don't understand what is going on with SC in Europe... I allready had put the money aside so I went to a local shop here in Portugal last week, they had it in stock (8.5k euro) and will build it using a lot of this forums insights. Thinking of going with:
- FOX 38 2023 Kashima Grip2 180mm
- shock EXT e-Storia
- rims RESERVE (hubs DT SWISS 240)
- Fillmore Valves
Expecting it will be around 22kgs

Not sure about changing the SRAMX01 for an AXS and putting the offset bushings...and still have to find how to cash-in with the spares
Any comments or help with the build are much appreciated!

Finally got my 29er built , hope fortus single fr/triple r with pro 4 hubs and finished with a pair of the new mich enduro 2.4’s . Plenty of room at the back on a medium frame . Put the forks back to 180mm and keep the flipchip low .
I’ve smashed my Strava coms 1st ride only joking , ain’t rode it in anger yet cos of the knee but out this Sunday with young Jimmyvillas & James so gotta try and hold back

Edit … need a new rear guard as my nuts destroyed the last one

I'm building mine Kenevo Expert 2022 as a full 29er, I have a few months till get it done now its coming the snow and I don't have so much free time for riding and I still have some parts for sale.
My Specs are
DT Swiss Hx1501 29 with Kryptotal tyres
Shimano Linkglide XT 11-50T
Shimano XT or XTR Brakes (I haven't bought them yet)
RockShox Zeb Ultimate 29

Still have front suspension and sram code RS brakes for sale if anyone is interested I'm base in Switzerland.
