The most difficult feature on this double black trail called Ladies Only (North Shore, BC) is called Bart Simpson. There seems to be a tradition of naming difficult features around here. I have done it before many years ago on a 26" wheel bike with full armor. The consequences are high with a 90 degree turn on the entrance and a lumpy exit. So, like many people who ride this trail, I leave this one alone! My Bro did the most impressive save on it, many years ago.

@RebornRider
Regarding your "pic or it didn't happen" pic ...
I'm not convinced ..who is to say that you didn't take your bike for a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain only to find the trails closed once you got there 😉..
( I'm looking at the two red trail closed signs )..
We really need to see some action shots before this can be signed off ...😂

Out with my old mate Ian Bell today ..cant remember the last time we rode together ..
Although he stocks ebikes in his shop ..Ian is still old school and isn't ready for one yet ( 70+) ..I wouldn't be able to keep up with him on a normal mtb ..but readjusted so we rode mostly together..
Fabulous day in the Cheviot Hills where the weather had cooled down after the scorching start to the week ..on some of the trails to be ridden on the upcoming group rideout ..

Great ride and good to be riding with Ian again..to celebrate we had to stop off for a pint at the newly refurbished pub ( The Star ) in Harbottle ..what a fantastic job they have made of it ..

I don't care just being there is enough for me.

The Trail I have been trying clean is called Ladies Only. The end of its splits into a crazy rocky chutey mess that hardly anyone rides anymore with the popular choice being the trail know as the Big Stupid. The North Shore is known for interesting names and the Big Stupid refers to a 15 foot rock face with several lines including a near vertical one which, as usual, runs into a large tree. I have seen riders clear this line and I have seen riders hit one of the many trees. A couple of kids were checking out the hardest line and talking about jumping into it :eek:. The entrance to the rock face is also very lumpy with lots of roots, rocks and moss. In the end, I only saw the kid take the easy line. No Big Stupids today!

My Levo SL ghost riding off a drop. I was pretty worried about it falling off as the structure is a little shakey as I walked on and off of it!

Terrific 30 mile pootle on great bridleways & lanes in the far northeast corner of Northumberland with my good buddy @The EMF
Nothing too high or technical just a nice chilled ride with some terrific scenery in good company ..a supreme summer ride ...

I hope you don't mind a pic of a rental bike! In 2019 I went to Switzerland for a week of work followed by a week of fun. While in the beautiful town of Zermatt, I decided to rent an ebike and see how close I could get to the Matterhorn. I'd never ridden an ebike before this trip and, long story short, I bought my Turbo Levo soon after getting home. These 3 shots were all taken from my all-day ride. There's no way I could have done this ride on a human powered mtb.
