Pic of the Day

Something else than just bike parks. A real Alp trail at Livigno. Been at this trail many times and still loving it. You get 1100 m vertical up and down.

Came past this today. The lightning strike boulderly single-track descent to Loch Muick. Had a nasty endo here my leg somehow ended up through the frame and jammed with handlebars. Big drop on my left on my own as usual

We did the descent on the far side of the Loch..pre electric days too..a few years back following the route in Scotland : The Wild Trails vol.1.... I do remember nearly crapping myself a few times ..but what a cracking ride on a scorching day that was ..

The battery won't last as long as when you carry it, but it's generally easier and more fun if you try riding it. There's probably a youtube video somewhere which shows how ..

If you do insist on carrying it, I'd consider buying a lightweight eMTB like a Levo SL or Orbea Rise. These bikes are designed for people who prefer to carry their bikes rather than ride them and they come with tiny tiny little batteries and motors from electric razors because they're not really designed to be ridden.

If you have any complex's about how you look, Specialized make a carry bike just for that Market. The Kenevo SL ! It has a funkier looking suspension setup so owners can walk peacefully and confidently around the countryside carrying their bikes, knowing that people will be looking at their bike, not at them.

Yes they go out in the dark with all the folk that don't switch the motor on at all , have a rare old time I hear.

May the force be with you. Never underestimate Kenovo SL owners

Just a little blast round the bike park yesterday but some significant milestones - 1st time I have ridden 3 times in the week in over 30 years riding and also the 1st time I have been gym and riding in the same day. This I can honestly say is only possible due to the E Bike. Today will be gym and ride with Kids this afternoon(non ebike)
