Great suspension, and an interesting choice of riding clothing.
Yes, I agree. I think the Pink backpack clashes a bit with the green of the bike. OTOH if you like contrast and being seen when on the streets, then it is definitely good. Particularly with the purple Tutu

Having opted out of travelling down to Hamsterley today thinking there might be a good bit of snow & ice to contend with..you simply can't keep four ..err three ..erm.. I mean two good men down ..that's what we whittled down to when the day started with rain lashing down & black ice ( two non forum mates ) ..but me & The EMF are made of sterner stuff 😄..
We tackled the Pundershaw area of Kielder Forest which is just over the hill from Bellingham where I live ..
The ride had a bit of everything ..moorland singletrack , farmtrack , tarmac ( Blacktop) forest singletrack ..and even clearing fallen trees from storm Arwen ..
Tired , wet & cold by the end ..21 tough miles ..but great to be out .
Cheers for taking the time to come over Wayne ..it was a blast ..

EMF ..in the distance

Pleased to make the effort to get to yours Neil, great ride out (could tell I was carrying a few extra chrimbo indulgence pounds ) It had a bit of everything mate good route. 🤙

My daily ride just got a bit more complicated.

Well... everyone walks sometimes.

91737? My homeboy just moved to RC and has been exploring the hills above his house. It sounds like there's some pretty nice wilderness, fishing spots, and trails that head up into the higher elevations.

Shortened ride at Rivington today. Cold but bright, just had a slow puncture and was gradually losing pressure from the rear tyre.

Still managed 13.2 miles, 2250 feet and over 1000 kCals burnt.

These pics are from Winter Hill summit, one looking north and one back towards the transmitter and some of the masts.

Video excerpts just uploading to YT as I type, just waiting for HD processing. Only 7 minutes. Over in the Footage thread...

Sloppiest conditions I've ever known round here today. I can;t say the new mudguard has been an unqualified success & now Mrs. Rusty is doing her nut despite me explaining it will dry out much quicker indoors.

You don't come across Seal's every day on a bike ride

But I do see these on about a daily basis as there is a herd of around 40 of them that live in the hood. They are very shy though usually and never time to get the phone out for a shot. They must be getting used to me cause they didn't disappear into the woods with a crash like they usually do.
