Then a quick test ride round the garden ... Squeak was gone - pain definitely wasn't !

Took my wife’s bike out this morning (hence the seat!), as I wanted to check that everything was working properly after the service the other day. All was well until I got a huge stick stuck in the drivetrain, bending the hanger. I’m not very popular!

Mr.EMF ..came to sample my local trails today ..a nice but cold ride out ..oh and muddy !
We visited the Green bothy where there had been some naughty people making a bit of a mess recently but all was in good order today ..

Yep! She was worried about how I’d get on, as I had back injections on Monday and this was my first ride since, so didn’t expect me to break the bloody thing! She’s still talking to me, as I bought her some Nukeproof Neutron EVO pedals, so she doesn’t trash her legs and shoes!

Yep was a good ride out today Mr Hodge.....some fine singletrack.
The pics of the Bothy sure give an exaggerated image of the internal decore ?? note the bottle opener hanging on the wall in one of my pics and there is the ghoulish figure of the Hodge checking the log book. Was a tad cool nd damp but great to be out.

I was doing a bank job in Hexham afterwards and didn't think I had time to go home and change ..
A stocking ???? That’s the embalming wraps that have come off with his helmet..... he’s good on the trails though like a phantom
