Levo SL Gen 1 Official Levo SL Thread

So what ranges arw people getting with sl levo, without range extender?Yesterday did a ride with my 2020 levo comp, bit over 100km and battery left around 30%. mostly ride with eco 15/30, little turbo 100/100.
Really been thinking of an sl model but need to do some serious testing before any desicions.

Furthest so far is 41miles and just over 4000ft climbing. I had 19%battery left when I got home. Ride time was over 4 hours.
I used turbo a few times on the steeper sections but mostly eco set at 35/35. I’ve come Home feeling much worse after 30 miles on a carbon stumpy ive had for 4 years. I’ve done 30 miles on the SL and hardly broken into a sweat with 2000ft climbing. ??

I go by elevation not miles because where I ride is steep. I get 2-2.3k feet out of each extender and about 4.5k feet out of the bikes main battery. Using trail 60/60 most of the time

Rode solo again today. Ride time is about 6.5 hours; about 53 miles and 7,300 ft of elevation. All eco until the last 3 miles where I used trail. I used 2 extenders. The first extender lasted for about 10.72 miles and 2,600 ft of elevation. After this ride, I have 23% left. For comparison purposes, I did the same ride with my pivot shuttle using 2 batteries but only managed 45 miles and 6,600 ft of elevation. The SL is very efficient and the weight really is noticeable when climbing steeps.

Been riding my Levo SL Comp for about a month, my most ambitious ride so far was 32 miles. The ride is Florida flat, elevation change of less than 16 feet except for the bridge over the ICW which is a whopping 75'. Most of the ride was in Eco (set for 35/45) except for the bridge where I used Turbo for the minute or so it took to climb the grade (maybe 12%). The battery was down to about half so I can probably expect 50-60 miles on a charge.

The first time I get stuck out of power will be the day I order the battery extender but I doubt I will ever need it.

My SL weighs about 45 lb with all the crap I carry (tools, tube, water bottle) and it lost maybe 1-2 lb when I switched to 27.5" wheels. They feel much better than the 29s plus I went with Continental RaceKings since I ride mostly dry hardpack.

Anyone else think there SL has got quieter with mileage? I’m just over 400miles now and sure it’s les whinny ??‍♂️

All your data about achieved duration and altitude meters and the remaining battery level are not very meaningful, if you do not also indicate the personal contribution (kCal/kJoule)!

First part of upgrades started to arrive today, Got some Zee brakes to replace the terrible Glides. Waiting for the front to arrive then I'll get them installed hopefully before the weekend.

Can you use the cable routing from the guide?

Yea they will be rerouted via the same holes, do want to look at redoing the routing at the front tho and see if I can make it tidier for UK brake ways with rear on the left tho.

Can you get full compression out of that with the range extender?

I’d like to know if anyone has tried a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate, and if it fits?
I want to know this too as ive got coil ultimate on my stumpy and now im thinking this wont fit .. im about to order my comp carbon any day now .. this would pee my right off if the extender wont fit .

Unfortunately I am broke now since I also ordered a Levo SL Carbon Comp.
The only thing I didn't like about it was that I am used to switch 2 gears at once with Shimano but hey, lets see if I can get used to it :)
Sorry if this was answered before, but I heard you can switch out the cassette for an X01 to save some weight, do I JUST need this cassette or another part as well? Thank you.

You need to change the free hub. You can order this through your specialized dealer. The Company Carbon freehub is a Shimano HG

Yes, im running NX everything with X01 cassette (although DT Swiss wheels with XD Driver). You just need to appropriate driver for the stock wheels as listed (y)
btw would a shimano XTR cassette also fit, then I do not need a driver?
which dt swiss wheels are you running if I may ask?
