2 E8000 motors and a Fazua. No problems.

First E8000 is 2 years and riding 1-2 days each week.
Second E8000 has maybe 50 hours of riding.
Fazua has about 200 hours of riding. Hasn't been out much due to pandemic as I've been on the MTB more.

I have a few that have never had an issue, Clyte 5304, Clyte TC100, Bafang BPM, MAC 10T but most notably, a Brose 1.3.

I wonder if the Brose 1.3 (Alu S) has a lower failure rate than the Brose 2.1 (Mag S).?

It seems to me that hub motors have a lower failure rate than mid-motors. The Clyte 5304 I have is 11 years old & has done far higher mileage than any car I've owned.

1700km on my e8000 and somethings up. I think the swingarm stretched the speed sensor wire. Shimano canada has no speed sensors in stock so order one from the US. I wont be expecting that overnight in this current shiping climate. Good thing the lift fired up a couple days later. Running gondi laps until the speed sensor comes and/or i get an acoustic bike(also out of stock) to not be stuck without something. Fingers crossed its the speed sensor wire. Im kind of hooked now

1300 mostly seriously off road miles on shimano E8000 - no problems.
450 miles -as above - Bosch 4th gen no problems......unless you count the left side cosmetic cover falling off?
450 miles on Bosch driven road bike no problems.

There's so many poles for broken motors .. here's one to see how many are out there which work.

I've allowed upto three votes for people with several bikes.

Unfortunately, it won't let you vote twice for the same one - if you have two bosch bikes for instance.
Mmmmm not sure what this is going to tell you if you don't know the total number of each type on the forum? Where are the broken motor poles?

I have about 1000 km on a Yamaha SyncDrive Sport (Giant Stance) and despite multiple hits on rocks and logs, totally smashing the motor guard, the motor itself is fine.....maybe a little noisier than when new.
