Which knee pads?

So I took a small digger yesterday on the trail and now I’m looking at knee protection. My measly scrape could have been much worse if it was my knee and not my lower leg that hit the granite. I was looking at the POC VPD 2.0 and the G-Form Pro-X. Any experience with these? Or recommendations otherwise?

I've recently started wearing POC Joint VPD Air (the lightweight one) - I find them very comfortable and they don't slip. I haven't had the misfortune yet to test their 'protection' abilities but they don't appear to offer much side protection where you seem to have got cut

Depending how "active" you get/intend to get, I love Race Face Ambush. They are pretty substantial yet very comfy and the bonus is you can fit them without removing anything.

I love my rf ambush. They don't fall down and they just work. I have had 2 other knee protectors and the rf ones win by a good margin.
