What's on your wrist ( watch or gizmo)?

Same same. I think I've worn this four times in 15 years. Should probably sell it since it seems I'm not really a watch guy.

Was never a watch guy myself until someone showed me an Omega with glass caseback.
The intricacy of the engineering blew my mind !
Mines only loses 1 second per day !
Tight engineering tolerances or what !!!

CCCP was the former Soviet Union, not China…

I think your tinfoil hat needs a service.
СССР (Russian: Союз Советских Социалистических Республик —СССР; Soyuz Sovetskih Sotsialisticheskih Respublik, SSSR in Latin script) is a Russian abbreviation for the Soviet Union or Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

It can also stand for any Central Committee of the Communist party such as the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. And...Huawei is a Chinese company. And the person who criticised my choice of watch because it finances the enemy and weakened our national security uses products from the same country. I am happy for the OP to decide.

That would be the CCCCP then :)
Move along now !
Nothing more to C here !

Apple Watch Ultra. Has been through a lot and keeps on going. I’ll replace it when they come up with a new one that does something new and better.
And just like that, after three years with my Apple Watch Ultra, I am now wearing…

Happy Halloween. 🎃

Magnetic wrist strap but fairly simple watch face. Apparently you can pay with this thing too. She tracks me also but it has the “crash detection” feature …which can start the rescue process at the weirdest times …ask me how I know.

I bet, my Samsung watch has twice detected my fall whilst standing quietly with my arms by my sides.

Mine's only tried to alert the authorities once, after a rapid unscheduled dismount.
I was able to dismiss its concerns.

My fall detection has been triggered a number of times. Usually during trail maintenance. The I watch gives you enough time to say “I’m ok”…”I did not fall”. That stops the auto call to emergency services (911). But there was that one time.

After an OTB on a secluded trail I landed softly in a bramble bush. The bike landed on me. No problem. Nothing hurt. I was just stuck there though. I was half laying on the narrow trail with my left arm raised high above my head. A bramble limb had gone between my wrist and the watch band, That held my watch out of reach when the emergency auto call began. PANIC!

I could hear the operator say “Hello “ “Hello” Police, Fire, or…” I snapped the limb with a few more pulls and began speaking to the operator. Many…many questions later she was satisfied that I was ok.

Dusted myself off. Check out the bike. Continued my ride. So apparently it works …even when you don’t want it to.

Polar Ignite 3

Not interested in the fancy stuff and incredibly light - hate heavy watches. Syncs fine with my Samsung Galaxy S23.
