What do these do?

I have a Whyte E-505 EMTB with some Tektro hydraulic brakes.

After recently replacing the brake pads everything works fine, however the brake lever moves quite a bit before the new brakes start to bite. I thought it may just need pumping a few times but no joy.

Is there an adjustment I can make to get them to bite with less movement of the brake lever? Have attached an image of three points that can be adjusted, but not sure what they do.

Many thanks for any help.

A - holds the brake pipe onto the lever body
B - bleed port cover
C - master cylinder bore cap

I suggest not removing any of them, there isn’t adjustment on your levers. You could try replacing your pads and bleeding them, which may improve lever travel
