Been a week or so on these tyres. I've ridden Kryptotals before with the DH casing, also 2 sets of Argotals. The casing feels very stiff on the DH casing, nearly twangy to a point, a bit like the original Michelin Wild Enduros.

Managed (eventually) to get one of the recently newly released Kryptotal-F Surersoft Enduro casing tyres for the front and bought 2 x Kryptotal-R Soft Euduro for the rear. Coming off a set of Schwalbe radials, which were good, the new supersoft Kryptotal-F feels great. Got about 4 rides on these so far and the grip and sidewalls feel how they should, a bold statement so far as I have not experienced the wear yet but feeling like the best model/combo so far of the Conti range.

Nice bike!
How often do you use the extra battery?
Did you order it with the bike, or after you discovered that you needed one?
Depends on the ride. I like trekking rides. Today’s was 53 miles and 6100ft. Finished with 10% left. I was spent. Actually was doing a range test for my 220 lbs and carried 2 range extenders. Never used the other one. Going to sell it

Well I bought something that offers nothing except to spend money and look cool. Picked up some Cane Creek electric wings 165mm titanium cranks. I didn’t bother to weigh them to see how much less they are compared to the XO cranks they replaced. I guess the benefit is that you gain 10mm of ground clearance

Got tired of lifting the Vala up into a normal bike stand. Finished making an adapter to use my moto lift to hoist the ebike. Lift has 1 1/4 female square tubing in the corners. Made an adapter to insert a bench mount Park stand and use a Feedback clamp. Lift goes up 6 feet so plenty high enough. So much nicer and stable

Just ordered some Intend Trinity brakes - black edition.

I've been trying to get them since summer (in any colour). Each time they release a batch of 30 or so, they're sold out before I check out. Today, I had them checked out and purchased by 8.01am, when they went on sale at 8am! I think they must have had much more stock today though - as they didn't sell out until about 9.20am.

Anyway - looking forward to them making their way to the UK soon. Not so looking forward to the inevitable import tax bill that arrives with them!!
I think they’ve stepped up their manufacturing since I got mine in January. Fantastic brakes, pretty easy to bleed (when you remember to fit the bleed puck, doh!) and stop brilliantly with no loud noise. I run Galfer discs and pads, and got over 700 miles out of the first pairs of pads.
I think I paid about €814.32 for mine, don’t think there was import tax, and if there was it wasn’t much.

Had a frame to build so I got it One Up Components V2 Carbon Bar, One Stem & V3 180mm seatpost. This seatpost has the lightest and shortest lever throw EVER. Also got an emtb specific Ergon seat. Schwalbe Radial Albert gravity super soft front and Eddy Current Rear.

Collected wife's Lyrik Ultimate D1 and my Zeb Ultimate A2 both fitted with Vorsprung Smashpot V2's. Not in a hurry to install them back on our Rails, weather is nasty and forecast for the next week looks ugly so at best might get a quick 10 miler in between the bands of rain to see how they feel.

Figured the front Assegai's would struggle in the mud so took them off and put on slightly worn Magic Mary's (non radial) - that really was hard work compared to fitting Maxxis tyres. When the rear DHR2's are worn out will fit Maxxis Shorty Gen 2's that bought for £37 each in summer when nobody wanted them.

With winter now here and conditions in my local getting more muddy by the day,
I decided to get Schwalbe Shredda Gravity for front and rear. All being well they should arrive and be fitted by the weekend.

Loads of stuff but among are DMR Vault pedals, some RRP proguards, Rakk 2.0 bike stand and new winter gloves, Roeckl Villach 3. I hope these will prove good, as I have issues finding some good winter gloves.
