What did you buy your ebike this week?

You wasted a full minute of my life there Steve ..scrolling back that far ..don't you mean 6779?
@palmer365 ..who only joined on Sunday ..must be starting at the very beginning and working his way through all the posts 😂..its got to be well over a year now since Gary posted anything ..and where that quoted post has come from must be waaayy back in time ..
Sorry about that @Hodge I know that at your age every minute counts.
I have corrected my inadvertent mistype and left an apology to nameless others. :giggle:
I wasted some minutes myself by tracing back to see if another Gary had joined.

How long does it take to pump up a 29"x2.5" tyre to 20psi?
In the video it's inflating a 29x2.6 from 4.5 psi to 18.5 and took around 1 minute so not too much longer to do the numbers your asking, I would estimate about 2 minutes maybe ! Not the fastest but it's a gadget and I love a gadget lol.

I also bought one of these a few weeks back that I'm finding really useful in drying the bike, does a much better job than I do with a towel. It's got great airflow which is quite powerful, has a few attachments to direct the air in different ways and the length of the lead is not bad. My only gripe with it is the power button is a press and hold.

lol have it for my computer for years cost nothing. Careful with as you will push water where it should not go, tried it of course 😅

It’s odd, maybe it’s defective? I have one as well and it works very well I even use it to pop tubeless tires
Really? I would attach it and it would rattle on, but the digital readout was barely going up. Much faster to use a regular pump.

In the first I thought its a carbon fibre watering can. 😂

Pademelon Steering Damper, along with one mount for my mtb and the other mount for my emtb. The damper itself is very easy to swap from one bike to the other once the mounts are installed.

I’ll start a thread about it now that I’ve got several rides with it on each bike, it’s amazing…..reminds me of my days riding a CRF450 with a Scotts steering damper.

That takes me back (a long way!) to having GPR steering dampers on my bikes*. Think there's still a damper 'somewhere' in the garage.

Edit: race motorcycles*

I don't have a steering damper on my eBike, but on my moto enduo bikes I had a Scott on my previous bike and a very fancy Öhlins on my present Gasgas.

Bought £200 worth of goodies from Peaty’s this week, thanks to EMBN.
Won their comp at the end of last year and rather than send out a prize pack to NZ they gave me a £200 credit for their online store and free shipping.

Cannot wait for it all to arrive!
  • Bike cleaning kit (Loam Foam, tool box, brushes, etc)
  • Tubeless kit (valves, tape, sealant)
  • Puncture plugging tool
  • Additional Brushes
  • Lube
  • Cleaning solution (loam foam)
  • Drivetrain degreaser
  • Fidlock bottle and mount
Had to modify my wish list as I couldn’t get anything aerosol sent.

Bought one of them portable digital tyre inflator things 🫣

Little update.... Tested it on my Fork and it's almost instant removed all the air, attached the Ugreen, set it to 100psi, turned it on and Bish Bash Bosh it was done. I had to do it again just to check I wasn't hallucinating lol.

What's the calibrated accuracy of the pump in +- psi or bar or percent?

Sorry, I have no idea what your asking but checking the tolerance on my normal floor pump with a non digital gauge it's accurate enough for me lol. I bought it for just throwing in the bag for when it's needed as I only own a floor pump and a shock pump and I don't carry the floor pump around for obvious reasons anyone who's ever had to inflate a tyre with a shock pump out and about will know it takes a while lol so was looking for a digital gauge pump and these type of things were generated in my search.... Thought why not ? And here we are
