Two 50ml bottles of Shimano mineral oil brake fluid and two of those tiny, tiny "O" rings that go either on the end of the syringe or on the bleed screw. I nearly always lose one of them every time I bleed a bike. :giggle:

Is there a weight limit? Do you think it can hold an ebike

Yes, weight limit is 35kg, and it says designed for MTB/eMTB.

A really solid piece of kit, fitted in under an hour and it's holding up my Levo. It also swivels almost 180 degrees, and the bike can be loaded at any angle.

Hey Trickz, bike looks awesome. How have you found the Michelin on the rear? What handlebars/ model/ spec are you running? I am am tall ride and they looks comfortable. Also what is the rear mudguard?

Will this fit any e8000 or do you need specific mounting holes etc
Should just mount to two of the three chain guide mount holes. If you already have the factory guide you'll need the special tool to remove the spider to dismount it. If not, then you should be able to attach it to any e7000/e8000 without removing anything.

Fits any e8000 but may not fit every bike if the frame oversails the side of the motor too much. To get the old one off as @Zimmerframe says you need to remove the spider - this is the e13 one fitted. Both the E13 and the Funn one can be fitted and removed without taking off the chainring/spider as they are only 2 vs 3 bolts, provided you spider clears the bolts. With the E13 you have to space it to the chain using washers behind the mount, whereas on the Funn one you get spacers for the head itself which is much better design. Also the Funn mount is alloy, the stock Shimano and E13 Plastic. I will do a write up once I have installed the Funn.

On my last hardtail bike I had a Cane Creek Thudbuster seat post that was really good at ironing out bumps. However, my new bike has a drop seat so the Thudbuster could not be transferred.
After a lot of research, I splashed out on a Brooks sprung saddle and have done several runs now. It might look old fashioned but VERY impressed; it really makes a difference.

Good saddles those, I have one on a bike that must be over 30 years old and still going strong.

I'm out of luck then but thanks for the info. I have no mounting holes. Truly was an oversight on norco behalf. I noticed they've got it right with the latest iteration.

Yes I recall the first gen not having a chain guide, but I also recall someone on the forum doing a workaround - I think its in the main Norco thread
 
Got a slit in my DHRII tyre last night, so decided to try a Michelin Wild Enduro instead. Ordered the gum front and rear... a bottle of Stan’s racing sealant, and a Stan's Dart tubeless repair tool.
 
OneUp Carbon bar, 10mm lower (20mm rise) coz the Decoy's pretty high and now super plush on the bars, does a really good job of dampening the ripples/stones etc (y)

cheers buddy ? I found the ewild very good,it hasn’t got the straight line grip as the assagai but cornering is on par but rolls soo much better,regards cockpit I’ve changed around a bit,I tried a 35 reach stem but ended up going back to the 40mm,I’ve also now got the v2 Nukeproof 800mm carbon bars with 38mm rise,the v2 versions are like rolled forward more in the design So still giving you the 9 degree back sweep but with 10mm more reach than the v1‘s which I’ve stuck on the Hardtail,since back injury I struggle with neck to get good forward vision so a high cockpit helps?The rear mudguard is just a standard front mudhugger with just a few holes drilled and a scoop out the side for the chain,the front is now a mudhugger shorty?

AWESOME. Your bike looks INSANE. Love it.

Interetsed too in the Nukeproof V2 handlebars as well. With the slightly longer reach from the bars you have better control and front end grip? I am 6'4, my bike (2020Focus Jam2) is great, but think a little bit of tweaking could be in order. Bars currently 780mm so thinking 800mm with a slightly longer stem (currently 35mm). Thanks again for all the info.
