Great looking bike. Must be torture not being able to ride it.

I’ve Been on my Rail most of the winter in the snow. Average -13c last 3 weeks. Perfect hardpacked snow trails. Then it snowed and it got a bit more loose. Still ridable. Now it started to rain?
Electric in the snow is such a blast. I think I rode my analogue 2 times last winter (didn’t have Rail then)

Save yourself a huge headache and check the torque on your bolts before you ride. Especially the drive side crank arm bolt. I think its 40 nm? And also re-torque it after your first 1-2 rides. After that it should be solid.

I purchased from one of the flagship Trek stores in Socal, and my drive side crank arm bolt came loose, and before I noticed it, had ruined the soft aluminum crank arm. It was like pulling teeth to get a new one from Trek - took me 6 visits to the shop and a month of waiting.

No problems whatsoever with the new arm. I just think the dealers are not realizing how much torque it really requires to stay on, and / or it comes loose in the first 10-100 miles.
