I just got a Trek Fuel+ EX 9.7. It’s the only model in our area (USA) that you can get at the moment without waiting until September.
I always intended to get the LX 9.9 but was hesitant on cost, availability and it having the old Fox suspension on it. Also after getting a laugh, I’m not 100% on spending for XO transmission.
So I got the EX and plan to upgrade it to what I want. Some things, like the basic SRAM Eagle 70 is probably going to stay as that was a revelation.
This is my first ride impressions on typical Wisconsin terrain. My mods will be to turn this into a bigger travel rig for more gravity orientated terrain.
