I got an Amflow after coming off a 2025 Merida 160, with the Shimano EP801 with the Firmware upgrade. The first couple of rides on the Avinox System always leave the rider with a massive grin. But then you get used to it.

Until of course you ride with other quality riders, and you absolutely light them up on a technical climb ....... The guys in my group call me, "Astro A-Line", because I always take on the most difficult climbs, whilst they need to walk their bikes up .......

I ride a Orbea Wild that I really like but this one is on a different level. And then I only talking about the bike not the motor.

Great to hear after ordering one on the day they were released in Australia. It seems the Youtube reviewers were not being flattering with their praise.

I'll see how the Fox 38 and Float X perform. But that setup of a Zeb Ultimate and a Vivid Ultimate, is exactly what I will upgrade to, if I want more performance.

I ordered it with the zeb ultimate and vivid coil. I’ll let you know. I had to go with a couple of “budget” items like MT7 pros and aluminum I9 wheels to keep the cost down. It is all wireless drivetrain and dropper though.

Unfortunately the retailer in Australia didn't allow the sort of customisation allowed by the US retailer. And even just the frame came with fox shock. So I decided to get the whole bike in basic, and just upgrade as I need.

Agree. I think the capability of the bike will far exceed how far I could push it. So I'm not planning a suspension upgrade in the near future.

I will be doing, electronic SRAM AXS Transmission, wheels and hubs upgrade. SPD pedals as well. Then a raft of cosmetic changes.

Wow ...... I wanted to see someone pushing the Flux hard, and that video just nails it. Most exciting is that he was on the base model, and it just ate up the bumps, and ripped the corners.

Super impressive. I'm feeling even more inadequate to be getting such a capable bike.

In my mind that’s how I’ll ride this thing. Reality sets in when I reach the trailhead.

Hi everyone, sorry I've been a bit quiet on here recently. A couple of life changes and projects have been getting in the way. But as an update I have now received the updated idler (let me know if you want a pic) and I have also been sent a production chainstay as the one on my sample bike has now been updated. I've not fitted them yet as I fancy getting it muddy this weekend and spending some more time on the MY27 Fox 38 and the Fast coil I have fitted.
Also good to see the Flux video has been shared above, I helped get everyone together to film it

Here’s a question, does the Flux have an accessory/tool mount under the top tube? I know the Teewing force has one, why wouldn’t the flux as they are pretty similar? Zoomed up I can sorted see two slight bulges where there could be two bolt holes, but they are far more obvious on the Force frame.

yup, you are correct. Those bulges are the bolt holes.

I would be really cool if you could perform and share results of:

1. Take measurements of effective chainstay length and BB height at sag, actual chainstay length and BB height unweighted with your original setup under both flip-chip configs. If possible, also deflate the shock and measure rear travel in each config.
2. Take some close up pics and measurements of the chainstays (pivot to axle) when dissembled and in both flip-chip configs.
3. Repeat item 1, but this time with the new CS. If this sounds like too much work, then skip 1.

Any effort would be appreciated. This kind of effort should not be required if Teewing would just come clean and provide us with accurate and now updated Geos and any kinematics.

I was just looking at the configurator on the Drip site and definitely looks like prices went up a bit. I don’t remember exactly what they were before but it seems like maybe $500 in the full bikes and $200 or so on the frame only maybe?

With regards to Drip's frameset I think they dropped the need to have a shock, but upped the price a couple of hundred.

Probably selling well. The Blue base model in Medium is sold out in Australia. But I don't think they had many. Only 2 or 3, I think they told me when I ordered the Black Medium. I think they said they had 8 Black Mediums when I ordered.

They probably have. That was just Pushys allotment, due for arrival in May. Pushys is basically buying a container of Teewings. Both Turbo Forces and Fluxs. When they sell all the stock. They'll order another container. So it could be many months before the next order.

That's why I ordered on the day of release. It could be the end of the year before another shipment arrives after the May Shipment.

FYI, On the latest PB podcast, Matt Beer was describing that he's currently testing testing the Flux, and he hinted that the experience was favorable for the longer travel enduro space. More to follow with an actual post from him, though don't know when.

Unfortunately I'm just not a strong enough rider to really make an accurate report when my bike arrives. So I have been watching with interest, all the hard core riders testing it. My main motivation for this Enduro bike is to help me on a downhill charge, when I get it wrong.

Example being, I badly front wheel cased a gap jump last weekend, because shrubbery had hidden it was a gap jump. The Amflow with the 160mm Fox 36 factory, did fully compress and my stomach hit the handlebars, but I didn't go OTHB. Smaller suspension travel, or steeper head angle, and it would have ended differently.

I'm hoping the Flux will further increase the margin of error I can make. I'm too old to crash anymore.

Anyway. While I'm here. Some of the new parts for the Flux have turned up. I hope the bike turns up in May .......

I paraphrased Matt's comments and injected that term myself. Enduro is really in the 150mm-to-180mm rear travel range, so I would consider longer travel enduro to be anything from 170mm to 180mm, which is where the Flux sits. Anything greater than 180mm (e.g. Pole Voima and Sonni at 190mm and 200mm respectively) I would call "Downduro".

The MX flip-chip settings moves the rear travel a full 10mm from 170 to 180mm. by effectively shortening the chainstay, most likely changing the riding characteristics of the bike (still waiting for those kinematics graphs). Matt did express that he intends to test all modes.
