I did a massive (for me) 30km ride last night in my local woods, wow this bike is so playful (compared to my Specialized Enduro - isn't it very similar geo?), lost count of the downs, skipping and whipping the bike around is a joy and easy and obviously the pedal up is easy!
Did some pointless boost and turbo playing so spanked the battery!

Having not had an ebbb before I have no comparison, but this is so much more agile and playful that I was expecting especially considering its around 24kg!
I think I'm happy with the EXT E Storia as supplied from J Tech as the faster I go the more active it is and even though it seems soft in the car park I haven't noticed any bottoming out (I have no idea on the sag). I had some initial setup problems with the fork (2nd hand Fox 38 with new coil conversion) was diving on deep compressions which I think I have solved with a fiddle with the damping setting.

I've got a 240mm one up dropper and 36t ring out for delivery hopefully for my weekend to Dyfi bike park and some local off piste!

Hello,
I never tried Zendit, but went from E-Storia to Vivid Coil 2027 on Rogue and it PLOWS!
I definitely want to go with a coil on the Velduro and am considering the following options:
- Öhlins TTX22M.2 because I’m happy with it on my Gen 3 Levo
- EXT E-Storia because it’s custom shimmed and comes with two springs
- RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate because the early reviews say it’s very plush
Which one would you recommend, and why?

Hi, just FYI for other customers in Germany. Delivery is delayed again and is now expected to arrive in Germany in two weeks. So, shipping will then be in June... I ordered in November for delivery in March/April.

Can I also suggest the ST-29 from Suspension Tech. They are very familiar with the Velduro having made a batch of 50 shocks for them be sold as OEM shocks.
I recently got them to make me one for my Yeti LTe and it’s brilliant and I’ve not even changed any settings yet.

Riddle me this, according to the official documents, the new MY27 Vivid Air D1 fits all frames with 205x65, yet the smaller Super Deluxe 27 D1 doesn't?

Does someone know if dxh2 (2025 version) is fitting the xl frame or does it block the charging connector?

Regards drive train noise - after a day at Dyfi bike park (With a KOM on a trail commination 🔥) a bit of rain and a hose down the drive train was horrendous!! lube up an then silent again - lesson learnt keep lubed!
36t SRAM steel chainring to go on very soon.

Single piece chainring? Are they available now?

I believe they are, or very soon. no I've got a 104 BCD chainring
i had to adjust the position of the idler when i mounted the sram 34t steel ring on the spider. there are some tiny washers that lets you micro adjust the position so its more inline. it’s different than the velduro ring

Any suggestions on what to stick the chain stay protector back with to keep it there better than standard sticky? I guess it’s pulled up from heal rub.

Same here both that one and the top one are coming off just after a week and for sure the top one is not from rubbing with the shoes, not great.
Also the exposed cables near the cranks is a bad design.

Other than these two issues the bike so far is incredibly good to ride.

What's the carbon finish like? Ive never had a CF frame before, my frameset should be here by June hopefully.

Hello everyone,

I'm probably about to get a Velduro. Can anyone report something about the range of the Velduro Rogue with Avinox M2s engine? Also gladly comparisons with Bosch or Specialized, if someone has experience with several systems.

I also like to drive very long tours in the Alps and range is very important to me, especially as long as there is no range extender from Avinox yet.

Thank you and best regards - Suri

I think if you adjust the performance accordingly, most systems are probably at a similar level in terms of range!?

What worries me a bit, however, are some reports from drivers who have also noticed rattling in the new M2s engine. I would be happy about your experiences!

Greetings Suri

3M VHB should do the job but I have not tried it yet. either the 5952

Or the LSE-110WF

...Adding zip ties would make it even safer but really ugly.

the rear chainstay is very large very soon compared to other bikes, hence the rubbing.
The chainstay protector should have been designed by Velduro as a wrap around piece of rubber, secured on the back (invisible) by zip ties, IMHO.

Not heard a rattle yet & I've ridden about 150kms on it so far.

I’m a little biased, admittedly, but here’s my honest take on the Velduro Rogue. I’ve tried to keep it as balanced as possible without slipping into full-blown Velduro fanboy mode… which, to be fair, is harder than it sounds.
Enjoy!
You said you saw a significant improvement after getting the X2 shock tuned by Fox per Velduro tuning recommendations.

Can you share more details of the tuning profile? I bought the X2 shock independently from Velduro so eager to know more

Thanks
