I have ridden it with both the X2 and the EXT E-storia. The E-storia on this bike feels so much better! The progressiveness of the rear suspension really lends itself to the linear coil, especially if you run it in Progressive on the flip chip.
That's probably because the EXT is a far better shock to begin with, not so much because Air vs Coil

The question is how the cable will be attached. If it uses the standard port the clearance issue with the damper will get worse..

funny how the "i want the small battery, so i have no weight up top" is cool with having a heavy range extender up top 😁

I think most people would rather have the worse handling on the occasional big touring day, rather than every single day.
Would be nice if it used the range extender first and you could just leave it trail side to get on the way back.

Does anyone know if the delivery date for the next frames in Europe (Switzerland) has changed? Three weeks ago, I was told it would be the end of April. Could they possibly arrive earlier due to the Avinox April 9 release?

Hello,

We are distributors for Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. The first delivery is expected in approximately 14-21 days (for customers who ordered a bike or frame back in August).

After that, we will receive our first container at the beginning of May at the latest - if the situation in the Middle East stabilizes, it may arrive even earlier.

However, this may vary from distributor to distributor.

I bought my frame from what I think is Swiss first (and only?) retailer: Veloeggae in Einsiedeln.

Two weeks ago the owner told me that deliveries were planned for end of month and this is still reflected in their website.

I have not spoken with him since but I don't believe this has changed.

As I said earlier consider that most bikes and frames of the first batch might be already sold

For more info, call Veloeggae. I don't believe they are on this forum.

no, i spoke with the distributor. a bit over a week ago the ship was around namibia. so takes 2-3 weeks to rotterdam. then it needs to get unloaded and shipped to switzerland. they booked both a lorry and a spot on a train, but it is not clear when exactly they get it. sucks big times, i‘ll leave on the 26th to finale and probably need to rebuild my kenevo sl for this trip. and ride the shitty 23 x2 it came with.

my proper shock no longer fits, it just arrived from the tuner:

@Velduro UK i’m assuming the delivery date of tomorrow was a mistake on the carriers part? As it’s the only one i could choose before my holidays i chose that one but not heard anything

Ok, avinox embargo is lifted. Can we get details now exactly what will be delivered with our bikes/ frames?

M2S motor

Here you go, a good watch with Brook McDonald. It's not all about the motor power, Velduro have a platform that can handle it!

All the bikes/frames are already with most of our dealers. End user orders through dealers and our site being delivered directly will start to be delivered today, buyers should already have heard from "Cycle Courier" asking for convenient delivery dates and times.

This is what you will be getting....

VELDURO ROGUE WITH AVINOX M2S

The M2S is the high-performance unit in the M2 range. It was built for riders who push hard, whether that's technical enduro, steep climbs, or demanding trail conditions.

Drive Unit Specs AVINOX M2S

Weight: 2.59 kg
Standard output Peak (Boost) output: 1300W / 130Nm 1300W / 150Nm
Noise level: 545 dBA
Efficiency: 84.5% (up from 82%)
Protection: IP66
Unassisted pedalling resistance; 41% lower than M1

What's new on the M2S
45% higher power density and 21.6% higher torque density versus the M1, in nearly the same package size

84.5% maximum efficiency, up from 82% on the M1, meaning more sustained output during high-intensity riding
Noise reduced to 545 B A , with internal gear clatter on descents and rough terrain significantly reduced
Unassisted pedalling resistance cut by 41%, so the bike rolls properly when the motor is off

IP66 waterproofing with improved connector protection and better cable torsion resistance
Boost mode delivers 150Nm for 10 to 60 seconds, activated by holding the left controller button
Smooth Shift and Chain Protection supported with SRAM Eagle AXS (powered by Avinox)

10-sensor system reads cadence, torque, speed, gear position, and bike attitude to deliver power in Auto, Eco, Trail, and Turbo modes

which display? old or new?
will the old axs power cable still work or is it a new connector like someone claimed?
what about astm5 certification?
what about the longer chainstay?

spill the beans!

I heard that only the new batteries can deliver full power with the M2S motor. The new batteries are 700 Wh internal and 600/800 Wh removable. Will the Rogue come with the old 800 Wh integrated battery, so it won't reach full power?

The article you linked on Velduro.com said they have the new display with the new motor. So if you're getting the new motor it would appear you get the new display.
that would suck, as it loses the sim card connectivity and the 65w usb c port

only the 700wh can. its the only one with the 4680 cells.

From the velduro website:
Both bikes also run the Avinox DP100: a 2-inch OLED touchscreen with turn-by-turn navigation, smart heart rate assist that adjusts power to keep you in your target zone, DJI camera integration, Apple Find My, and 65W USB-C charging output.

Hadn't seen any info about SIM or USB anywhere else yet, though that suggests it still has USB charging output. Guessing that info is from either the Amflow or Avinox site?

It looks like only the 700 can give 1500 W + 150 Nm in normal modes. The new 800 removable pack can give the same figures in Boost mode. The old 600/800 integrated batteries can 'only' put out 1300 W / 150 Nm in Boost. So the Rogue is less powerful than a bike with the M2S and any of the new batteries, removable or fixed.

I’ve heard nothing from the couriers since we selected a choice of 7 days when we were available for delivery, without confirmation i can’t just stay in the house for the 7 days I selected waiting for my frame to turn up, when are they confirming which date of the 7 days selected it will be so people can make arrangements to receive their bikes

I got an email last night saying it would arrive this morning, even though I had never selected any delivery days. Fortunately I saw the email before I went to bed so I could cancel it, as I'm currently 200 miles away from the delivery address. They responded straight away so maybe send them an email at [email protected]?

I've screenshot this from Avinox website (which I had to use a VPN to get to as it doesn't seem to be working in the UK right now). This suggests the Velduro website is incorrect as they've mentioned a DP100 which isn't on this list which appears to be the original one. That table shows the apple find my feature is only available on the third model which only has 10w USB and not 65w USB like the first two. So I guess their news article was written with incomplete information.

I guess you need an Apple device to use the Apple find my feature? I'm a windows / android guy.

EDIT, looks like you can use it on Android with the web browser.

The Velduro with a removable battery, adjustable chainstays, and approval for a dual crown fork would be a pretty much perfect bike. Just saying...

Thanks, my internet security has real issues with their website and communications stating they are trying to steal my data so it may have blocked them lol!
