Thanks for the info! As a large frame preorderer I'm stoked to see the 450mm CS change as the 440mm(even with high pivot growth) the only part of the bike I wasn't 100% with. And looking forward to installing a DC fork in the future.Hi everyone,
To address the final points made above...
The Velduro profile on this forum was set up by my colleague with the best intentions, to engage directly with riders and answer questions as interest around the brand grows. Unfortunately, some of the information shared was premature. While all details came from internal discussions...
So long as the flip chips at top of seatstay are rotated the geo is preserved between mullet and 29”Is there a geometry chart available for when the bike is run as a full 29er?
we know that, yet it sags for everyone the same, so it lengthens for everyone the same and we have the same length for different sized people which is the core point of the critique. people want a bike with similar characteristics in each size, therefor it needs a different sized rear end in each size as the front end grows with each size.Something I think worth noting is mid and high pivot bikes are a little different to low pivot bikes in that the rear end gets longer under sag. When riding at sag the rear centre will be around 450mm
Good catch. You can even see the crank arm shifting back in what is a very good example of the phenomenon. That said:Been looking at what hubs to pair with this frame build. Still seems like a bit of pedal kickback in the design, even with the high Pivot (shock not even fully compressing in the animation), so was curious about some of the new hubs that have some float built in to reduce kickback.
I was interested in the Tairin Shogun Silent hub, but it seems the Avinox system interferes with the hub ratchet design and doesnt allow it operate consistently.
More info here for interested people;

Anyone use Anti-Pedal Kickback Tech on EMTB?
In the last year there has been a surge in use of anti-pedal kickback components to provide significant improvements in suspension feel, travel utilization, chain slap, and overall pedal kickback reduction on MTBs (mostly downhill bikes, but trending into enduro), especially on bikes that don't...www.emtbforums.com

At least you guys are communicating directly with yr customers. Not something you will usually get from a lot of big bike brands. I think a lot of peeps just don't recognise the immensity of releasing a new e-mtb into the global market. Gotta be pretty daunting!Hi everyone,
To address the final points made above...
The Velduro profile on this forum was set up by my colleague with the best intentions, to engage directly with riders and answer questions as interest around the brand grows. Unfortunately, some of the information shared was premature. While all details came from internal discussions, they were communicated before we’d received final external certification and sign-off, which understandably caused confusion.
To be absolutely clear:
Dual-Crown Compatibility
The Rogue frame has passed all internal manufacturer stress and load tests with flying colours. However, until the independent certification process is formally completed, we cannot officially endorse the use of dual-crown forks. Once full approval is achieved, we’ll update this information through official Velduro channels.
Expect an update imminently on the website and socials.
CAT5 Certification
Testing is currently in progress, and we expect final sign-off in the near future. Until then, any claims about CAT5 status should be treated as pending approval.
We completely understand how mixed messages can look unprofessional, that’s on us. The team’s enthusiasm to share progress got a little ahead of our communication schedule. As previously mentioned, going forward, all verified updates about specifications, certification, and compatibility will come directly from Velduro UK or velduro.co.uk to ensure full accuracy.
We genuinely value the interest and scrutiny from this community so keep it coming! It helps us build trust and accountability from day one. Our goal is to be as transparent as possible and to offer every rider direct, honest communication, once the official testing process is complete...
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
