X large and Large 450mm
Medium and Small 400mm

Dual crown is no problem for 180mm travel
The NZ site says Dual Crown is "not suitable"

does the velduro have a cable guide in the chainstay to connect an axs derailleur with the power cable to the motor? on all photos it’s always shown with the axs battery?

Id be all in favour to 400mm CS in small... as previous geo chart small CS and reach presented with 440mm.

it would be great if someone from velduro nz would chime in and provide first hand information about the changes to stop the confusion

And then?

Visited rogue hq yesterday. Met the Velduro team, had a close up look at the velduro. The bike looks better in the flesh than it does in photos. That's one solid build.

There is some solid attention to detail on the Rogue. I did a quick parking lot test and the rogue felt real good straight out the gate. No funny angles or anything.

For all those worrying about chain ring bashing the velduro guys are developing a bash guard.

Those guy's know their stuff and are passionate about bikes. They do several other products under a few other brand name all e related. So this isn't there first rodeo designing stuff.

Oops, they tested to 30mtrs....
sounds a bit extreme , IP68 is greater than 1 metre , normally tested up to 3 metres 9.8ft , but its up to the manufacturer , cant see DJI testing to 30mtrs , which is sub sea max depth for recreational diving , unless Velduro intend for it to be ridden in some major deep puddles:)

30 meters is about 58psi which is probably about what a garden hose can deliver so quite relevant. A long way below what a power washer can do though.

Sorry to ruin your dream mate, but IP68 can be only submerged 1.5m for 30 minutes, not 30 meters ...
There aren't many things waterproof to 30 meters !!!

In fairness you can submerge you avinox to 30 meters.... it would just be good advice to disassemble and thoroughly dry it afterwards and also take that time to question your trail choices.

I don't see point in that, so much seals

Submerging it 30 meters (where pressure is actually ~44 psi) will penetrate significantly deeper into the motor than spraying it with garden hose with same pressure in the pipes ...

You're forgetting to add the 1 atmosphere of pressure at surface level - 44 + 14 = 58 ;) I guess either could be correct tho.

Kind of agree re 30m vs garden hose but even a tiny drop of water will negatively affect a motor - it doesnt have to get in that far. So if it is rated to 30m (for how many seconds?), then that has to be a good thing right?

But surface level pressure is already in the motor, so the difference will be only 44 psi ...
I don't believe it is 30m watertight no matter for how long, this would require some serious seals around the crank shaft which will cause too much drag when pedaling ...

I'm a dry weather rider and never hose wash my bike - so hopefully I'll never find out....

November seems a long way away still.

Any one planning on trying a different rear shock? I have a Fox X2 and a DPX2, both custom tuned for my Giant Reign, but was thinking about going for a coil. Quite like the idea of a Formula Selva V / Mod pair for something a little different.

It's definitely not 400. You could not fit a 27.5 wheel and a motor in a 400mm chainstay.

Breaking, rider rides 30m underwater but drowns in the process!
