UK Warranty timeframes

My EP8 is waiting a warranty review from Shimano (Madison?) in the UK. Just wondered if anyone has any recent experience of timelines involved in getting them to look at things at the moment? Bike shop is dealing with it and they've contacted Shimano about it, but a week on and they've not even had a response yet, let alone the motor getting sent to them.

3 weeks in to the warranty process (tomorrow). Madison responded 1 1/2 weeks after I dropped the bike off to the shop requesting more information. This has been supplied to them and now waiting their response (can be up to 14 days apparently - bike shop are chasing for me!). So motor not even been looked at yet. I believe it's a 48hr service once they receive the motor but will wait and see. Just glad I still have my non ebike to use.

I think you need to name the local bike shop as well.

My experience with Pedal & Spoke in Peaslake is it takes them a matter of days to get the report to Madison and a descision. I only say this as it may not be Madison dragging their heels.
