30mm rims, widest part of the tyre 35psi
Widest part is either carcus or knobs whichever is widest
I know the shorty wide trail is opitmised for 35mm rims and on those i reckon it would make 2.5 .
spesh fit 2.6 to 29mm rims and on them they are well off
Why is it the ERTD (sp) measurement in cm is often not what the manufacturers state in inches

Sorry that why i put sp mark cant remember what the designation is called but the measuerement looks like this 522 x 69mm
522 being the tyre diameter 69 being the tyre width its a european rule that all tyre manufacturers have to state this measurement in the tech data on the tyre.
My commemt was based on the fact that some tyres known ( example) 2.5inch shorty will have the width quoted in mm as per the eu standard and that mm width sometimes doesnt convert acuratly to inch size
