Dooes anyone other than specialized do warranty that's transferable to 2nd owner as I keep seeing quite a few bikes for sale that aren't much cheaper than new but if you have to pay for say a new motor/ battery why the hell would you buy them?

In addition to the a bove manufacturer warranty often only applies to the manufacturer's own equipment and on many bikes that is only the frame. So whether other aspects of warranty are extended to subsequent owners depends on warranty terms for Bosch, Shimano, DT Swiss, SRAM, Fox etc.

As above, you should always read the warranty T&C in full before deciding if you want to take the chance on a second hand bike. Especially a second had eBike.

Roval warranty is only in the USA from what I read .
Also you need to register your bike with Roval within a time period of purchase . But they dont tell you that when you buy the bike it seems . Never seen anyone saying they registered with Roval ?

The information I posted is from the UK website.

Devil is in the details .
1st owner need to register within 30 days if bought in the USA after Sept 19 for Sht happens warranty ...

Lifetime Warranty
If you're the original purchaser, your Roval wheels are warrantied for as long as you own them. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with our published guidelines.

If you're the subsequent owner (meaning that you're the second or an even later owner), then your Roval wheels are covered under warranty for two years from the date of the original retail purchase.

There are other important details and terms related to this warranty, and you can find the full Warranty Policy here.

Important Terms for the “**it Happens” No Fault Crash Replacement Policy
For your Roval products to be covered under the “**It Happens Policy”, they need to be purchased in the United States after 1 September 2019. The policy applies only to the original retail purchaser. The products also need to be registered here within 30 days of purchase. That way, we know you’ve purchased an eligible product and can better service you. Follow the link for more information on the registration process.
