The frame is cracked. Denied warranty.

Have they said how much they want for a replacement frame?

Does it really cost them that much money to have a more generous approach to warranties and crash replacements.
30% discount off the original price of EUR 2269/CNY 12899.
But, first they need to get the broken frame back.

He sent photos of five different bikes with the same tracks. Do you think they got together, took the tool you sent, and started mutilating their bikes?😂😂😂
It's very likely that these people don't know how the steering column on an amflow is made.
There are no ZS and EC cups there.

Ultimately it doesn't matter. Bloke is too heavy, Warrantee denied. He should never have purchased this bike n the first place as it is not fit for purpose.

Buy something and use it outside its stated design case, No warrantee.

It's not up to you to decide what I buy.
It's also not for you to decide whether or not to deny my warranty.
My main complaint with amflow is that they chose the dumbest reason to deny warranty, which I refuted.

If you send the frame back, they will probably say that the marks are a normal part of manufacturing, and send your original frame back.....
It's going to take over a month. I don't want to be without a bike for that long.

No its not up to me to decide what you buy or if warrantees are denied.

However you need to own that you made a decision to buy something that wasn't fit for purpose and therefore it will not be covered under warrantee.

If some yuts just put the tool in and hammered without looking that is exactly what those marks would look like........
There are stupid people in the world that blindly do this sort of thing.....

Not disagreeing, but all the other frame pictures have very similar marks, suggesting it’s not somebody using a tool to try and hammer out cups that can’t be removed…

Anyway, it’s all academic now, story told, outcome known, lessons learnt, all move on. 👍

I don't really see any reason to keep discussing validity of warranty and if it's right or not. It's just going to end up like before. Even if you think the warranty claim is correct, it is still not forbidden to have a bit of empathy with the guy.

If you ride a bike without ever replacing or upgrading its parts, I feel sorry for you...

Have you checked if the cracks are actually in the carbon or if it's just the paint that has cracked?

Being over the weight limit for the bike is not a "dumb reason to deny warranty", it is instead entirely consistent with the terms and conditions of their warranty.
Your mistake.

I haven't checked, I don't want to do that while the weather is still good for riding. I'll take a look in winter.

It's your mistake that you didn't learn to read.
The reason for the warranty refusal is the marks on the frame, which are present on every frame from the factory!
The support team doesn't say anything about weight; they chose the most ridiculous excuse to deny the warranty.

If you can't understand this, read my post again. If you still don't understand, read it again until you do, and then stop writing nonsense.

Why? I buy parts that are fit for purpose. Therefore warrantee applies.

My beef is with people that clearly use equipment that it is not designed for then asking for a warrantee when it fails.
