As the title suggests, here we go.

Sram jockey wheels. EX1. Is there a right/wrong way to install relative to rotation/chain direction? They are heavily sculpted but I can’t figure out if it’s a thing?
Seem to run ok and I’ve had them out many times for cleaning.

As I recall, my original SRAM jockey wheels on my GX had a "U" marked on one side with a "L" on the other. Just have appropriate side showing, as you look at the right hand side of the mech, in the upper and lower positions.

Ah ok. Upper is small, lower is big so there is no chance of confusion there. Can’t see any marks.

Just checked my GX derailleur, the top jockey wheel is biased inboard the bottom out.

The marks are not to identify top and bottom jockey wheels, but to enable correct orientation.

All sorted. Some muppet had put the top one in the wrong way round !!
