My guess is these get sold out the back of a van for cash down the local estate, or else shipped abroad.

In London most bikes stolen are soon back on the market for 100 quid on a street corner somewhere

Is this due to a drug problem? Like y’all got junkies walking the streets like hobos? Are you aloud to have guns there? Can you shoot people on your property stealing or in your house stealing?

- to me guns are a good deterrent. Except the fact that they’re also carried by the bad guys. Which is more reason to have them.
No were not allowed to carry firearms or knives for that matter. Don’t think it’s what’s needed either?. I also think drugs are a problem worldwide. The top & bottom of it is, people thinking there entitled to other people’s possessions & money, who have worked hard to own. Until the punishment fits the crime. This will always happen unfortunately.

This is going to be a PITA with brexit .. that £100 bike is going to end up costing a lot more with extra delivery costs, delays, taxes - maybe lots of taxes - can they prove it was completely stolen in the UK ? Is the tax different if it was stolen by a none UK resident ?

They should ship them back to China, at least all the containers won't be empty then and it might speed things up at the ports ?

Or maybe the fishermen can start bringing them over to the European mainland to help cover their extra costs.

This was the shop at Laggan Wolftrax. Another £40k worth stolen from Country cycles in Glasgow at the week end apparently. Probably the same crew.

Scum.

Last year in Dublin a full container of stolen bikes was stopped at the port being sent to Eastern Europe. It a sophisticated setup and organised crime. Most stolen bikes end up out of the country as the 2nd hand sites are watched by people who have had their bike stolen so hard to re sell on them.
