My feeling is that with all the crap that is going happen around the World we might not see this new SL until Summer 2023 at the latest. So just ride your current SL which is a great bike and enjoy. Might pay you to get a solar panel and inverter though

It's plenty for me only little bigger battery let's say 400 and it will be perfect battery engine combo 320 > 400 should not be big weight penalty. During colder months I need to ride with range extender my default setup is 35/100

My understanding is that it is now scheduled for October. I can see that being put back again due to circumstances.

thats the funny thing about being a global brand...i love my SL to bits, but would like a SMALLER battery, shave another 500grm-1kg off

Try 35/90. Makes a big difference in battery drain

Depends. With the kids singletrailer on a steep climp more power would be nice. For my riding on gravel roads for the uphill in the Alps 35Nm is enough. So I would like a 50-60 Nm motor. BUT I also would take a 35Nm silent motor over a 50 Nm noisy motor.
I‘m still on a Stumpy Evo and I just don‘t like the motor sounds in the woods…

When I push hard motor is giving almost maximum

2 hours? I can get about 3 out of my KSL in trail with turbo on some climbs. Ain’t a light rider either, all settings are as standard.

So at the time it was probably just a guess and they can't have edited it as they've not been on

My opinion is that we may not see these new bikes until 2023 the earliest because of global financial issues. Same for other brands as well.

Personally, I'm not sure it is wise to be an early adopter. I’ve heard of a few motor issues with the TQ motor in the Trek. I’m sure they will sort it given time.

I saw a Pivot with the new Fazua motor today and that looked very stealth.
